The Keeper Collars® Hidden Prong Collar is not simply a cover for a prong collar. The prong is built directly into the collar, allowing for unmatched functionality and camouflaging of the prong.
These collars are designed to easily be put on and taken off. Gone are the days of struggling to pinch the prongs together. For those people who do not have a ton of dexterity in their fingers, this is going to be a huge benefit.
Because you are no longer pinching the prongs to put the collar on and take off, you do not have to worry about them eventually wearing out and becoming loose. I purchased a Herm Springer for my Australian Shepherd when she was about 6mo and it worked great however because of her long coat fur gets entangled in it because of the working action of the HS. After seeing this video I decided to purchase one and give it a try. The Keeper Collar worked great with zero entanglement. I love it! And not having to use a safety line is icing on the cake. Definitely getting a second. 🇺🇸

Currently using a black HS 2.25 with metal buckle while my Rottweiler grows. It's popped off once so far, and have been buying extra links when needed. Right now he's only 8 months old and 99 lbs. Once he's done growing, I'm definitely getting the Keeper Collar with cobra clip. It's just not cost effective to get him one now, then later have to buy another one.

Good idea. I filmed a new video on how to adjust a proong collar that comes apart - we will post it next week. But EVERYONE WHO USES A PRONG COLLAR NEEDS TO HAVE A BACK-UP COLLAR - no acceptions - other than on keeper collars. - there is no backup needed because of the design

@@efrawley55 I'm definitely using his flat collar with metal clasp as a backup collar with the HS connector. It saved him from running away when the prong collar popped off. I've also had the HS 2.25 prong flip or twist backwards a couple of times when he gets extra squirrelly. If I take one prong link out, it pinches the extra folds of skin he has on his neck. The Keeper Collar would be fantastic. Not really sure what age his neck will be done growing. Hmm...

I have always thought that. HS Should make a larger throat plate. I think I see the inevitable upgrade to a keeper on the way!

My 2.25 Herm S. Collar recently busted at 11 months after purchase. I even had the quick release part ordered. I have a second backup collar in the 3.5 size. I’m not crazy about it.

You didnt by a Quick Release from us - I dont sell quick releases prong collars for a number if reasons.

I have an escape artist husky. Will your prong collar leather leash attach to this and to his harness? If not, will he only need this collar or should he still have two collars attached together as back up? Will the smaller link 2.3 suffice for this double coated breed in particular? Thanks

I use a prong and know they're a great tool, but I feel like the way Travis explains how they work isn't the best way to show people who are against them or on the fence that they're a good tool. When he says "like a wolf pack" it suggests an outdated approach. as pack theory for dogs has been debunked, and dogs are not wolves.
