As a type one diabetic, I absolutely laughed my a$$ off when I watched this. I’ve now seen this about 100 times and I laugh every time more and more until my mom tells me to shut the f*ck up 😂 Being diabetic your whole life really changes a person and makes them seem like they’re crazy when they pass out laughing at something like this-

My colleague in art school: “wow, you sure do a lot of pieces about our diabetes” Me, looking between the maybe 2 diabetes related art pieces in have done in the time she has know me and the 9th piece of her dealing with her childhood trauma: “Yup”

I mean, childhood trauma is an obvious thing to make art about. Hollywood does it all the time. Diabetes is a rare thing to make art about, so it's more noticable.

As a mom of a T1D warrior with a lot of understanding of the disease I absolutely think parts of the disease are funny and I think diabetic comedy should be a genre all its own!!!!

As a type 1 diabetic, I’m not quite sure why a young lad would still be testing his sugar levels finger pricking ? I’m sure he knows libra sensors can be scanned with your phone, but then there wouldn’t be a joke lol 😂🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

This is quite old, Libres weren't commonly used in UK yet 😊

Also, many sensors still need occasional calibration. I was on libre for 5 years, and you bet I double checked it against blood values.
