This was a cute interaction the other day. Extra people in the house confuse him. He was on the kick that Debbie was his sister. Happy Saturday. @dsalnorcal1434

Try walking a mile in their shoes. I’ve been there; done that. When they need your two cents, they will ask for it. If you followed this list EVERY DAY you would know Ed’s history, likes, dislikes, health, life, etc. Danielle and Dan deserve all the love and encouragement we can give them.

There's no point in romanticising dementia. It's not a result of feeling kindness, he just can't remember who people are. It's sad.
@heidicook4030Ай бұрын
@@slavasheynin486 Romancing dementia is a bit dramatic. People remember how you made them feel. Dementia robs memory not feelings. He and his sis obviously had a kind loving relationship. No negative response required.

I think Ed loves having someone/anyone to chat with. Anytime soneone new is around he seems to perk up a bit. It seems most of your company also enjoys spending time with Ed too & can give you a few minutes break occasionally. Hope you're having a great weekend Take Care/Stay Safe ✌

You guys could benefit from some dietician or nutritionist counseling. A grown man needs more than a bowl of cereal for breakfast. He needs at least 2200-2400 calories per day. If that's all he had, at least give a snack 2 hours after breakfast. His physician should watch your videos and offer advice when needed to assist you in your care taking. I know you're doing the best you know how, so maybe a little more education would benefit everyone. Especially Ed. GD, it's scary getting old.
@christinabeana75Ай бұрын
A grown man that’s active all the time would need that. He’s not losing any weight he’s actually gaining. He also ate the exact same way they feed him now. Just because you don’t see the mid day snacks doesn’t mean there isn’t any. He’s had a bowl of cereal his whole life for breakfast. Ed also doesn’t know when he’s full because of the dementia therefore letting him eat all day would not be beneficial for him. It would actually do him more harm.
@Amy-oj6luАй бұрын
Paula, Ed eats cereal with fruit every morning for many years with coffee. It has been his favorite for years. He doesn't like a breakfast. Ed is feed a very healthy and balanced meals. He receives healthy snacks and other goodies off and on. His doctor knows what he eats. Danielle doesn't need anyone telling her what to feed him or telling them to get educated on nutrition.
@Ginseng14Ай бұрын
I’m not really quite sure if you understand that Ed, already has a physician to seek advice from through his families caretakers. Not only that Danielle is into fitness and health. If you do not have a degree in dietary or health AND know Ed’s everyday routine…then I’d advise not to place in two cents of personal depictions. There’s a difference in understanding what someone needs to eat and knowing the whole ENTIRE background history in their health and intake. There could be possibly past health histories we know nothing of. Here’s your cents…👉🪙🪙
