Where do you get your money? Well Dad…

Dad is much improved after the fall. Getting back to normal. And this evening conversation outside I try and explain what social media is to my father. I try to explain to him that he is a great help and contributor and that he is still helping his kids. I’m grateful for this conversation. After a bad fall, you never know if he’s gonna get back to his old self.

Your father makes me recall my maternal grandfather; there are not many men like them anymore. I happened to have married someone like your father and my grandfather: gentlemen, honest, hard-responsible workers, intelligent with wisdom to understand what really matters in life, generous, good fathers, good neighbors, basically good human beings. They have left an excellent example of what a real man should be like, giving their children this lesson as a very valuable heritage. You seem to have learned a lot from your father. It seems that in spite of some mistakes in your youth, you turned out fine. It is a joy to turn on my tablet and enjoy your respectful dialog with your father. It reminds me, as a little girl and later as a teenager, spending hour talking to my grandpa. I learned a lot from him and my life has been a happy one, uncomplicated, full of patience and as reward receiving the same from others. We learn here, how to deal with demencia with love and patience. This is not easy, but it can be done. Thanks from sharing. I am 89 years old and had a very happy marriage for 66 1/2 years. I was lucky to marry a true gentleman. Marriage is not only about love, but mutual respect is very important too.
