This is in Andre’s house in Italy. Home Free did Ed’s song, “Thinking Out Loud” in the mashup with “Let’s Get It On”. Also, “Castle on the Hill” that Home Free did! Ed has a ton of original songs!

Ed is an Irish singer, songwriter. He had a VERY difficult early life but pursued his music with great fervor and gusto and it has paid off big time for him. He is a household name in the US. He wrote this song, one of the first to gain world wide fame not only with his recordings of his music but also major singers recording his work.

Technically he’s English because was born and grew up there. His dad’s family is Irish though and he always went there growing up.

They did another song together called Amo soltanto te and it was so good and the video was cute. Andrea does one with his son Matteo called Fall on Me that is beautiful too. I could go on about Ed and Andrea all day. This collaboration is one I don’t want to end! Ed has some good one Visiting Hours, afterglow (acapella), picture, Thinking out loud…I am one who is not for todays music I’m hardcore 80s but Ed won me over.

I sent you a link on Facebook messenger of an Ed Sheeran song that he did as a collaboration with Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars. It called “BLOW”. I automatically thought you knew Ed Sheeran. He has several good songs. One of my clients LOVES this one by him and he will ask me to play it for him. Another one is “Thinking Out Loud “. That is probably my favorite by him. “BLOW” is absolutely rocking. U knew it has to be with Chris Stapleton....... and Bruno Mars. U do know Bruno Mars, right?

I guess it's not strange, given that you live on the other side of the world, but Ed Sheeran is super famous here in North America, both as a singer/musician, and a songwriter. I think he wrote this song for his then-fiance, now wife. You may have heard his song "Photograph."

You so need to check out more Ed Sheeran, React to his early stuff such as A Team, you need me i don't need you, will give you a idea of his versatility. Check out live versions though, it is great to see how he builds the beat on You need me with his loop pedal. On stage he doesn't need dancers, backing musicians, just him, 2 mics a guitar and a loop pedal. Wayfaring stranger is another great song he build up on the loop pedal

Pretty much anything from Ed's first 3 albums is worth listening to. I found his 4th album to not be my favorite, it's a little poppier and I didn't find the songs as engaging. Castle on the Hill is my favorite of his songs, both his version and the Home Free cover.

Ed's 4th album No.6 Collaborations Project, was a fun side project and not guitar driven. Ed's next studio album Subtract "-'' will be more lo-fi acoustic type songs, and released later this year :)
