Ed has a mini series of doing Collaborations projects with the genres of music he grew up on. In 2011, he did an EP called No.5 Collaborations Project, collaborating with Grime artists. Then in 2019 he made an album No.6 Collaborations Project, collaborating with Rap and hip hop figures. Ed typically releases albums or EPs every 2 years. Could we possibly be getting a No.7 Collaboration Project with various Metal artists? Please let this be a thing.

100% agreed, this needs to happen! "Bad habits" with Bmth was great and you could see how much fun they were having, and Ed Sheeran is 100% in the position to do whatever tf makes him happy + if he actually was to have Dani shrieking on a song or just put some CoF synths and blast beats in it, that would absolutely blow TikTok to pieces. (and it would be absolutely hilarious if Ed would pull kind of a reverse Linkin Park and start to go more guitary/heavy on each coming record 😅 )

Honestly I have mixed feelings about this. For popularity sake, it's great. More ppl know about it, the more they will all sell. Theoretically. But bringing THAT crowd into our little corner could mean that there's more metal music with mindless lyrics and rap music mixed with it. I DESPISE rap music with the general lyrics they have. "Money and cars and b*tches and hoes, secs and oooh I like your body" ugh! I feel dumber just listening to 10 seconds of it. Well rap music with meaningful lyrics is not the worst. But that's not the case with most of it. That's the kind of stuff that would spill over into the metal scene. I'm worried about it becoming TOO mainstream honestly.

@@Maialeen He was suffering because his bandmates (Euronymous) treated him like shit, they're the whole reason why he killed himself. Plus, it did. The crimes being reported to the news is exposure to black metal. It's a way to let people know what music the artists played and eventually lead them to check it out.
