Domo arigato gozaimasu! Those white gloves would not stay white long in an Australian locomotive. I presume that it's a "manual transition" from Series, to Series Parallel then Parallel in EF6319?

Thank you very much for seeing it. Thank you for your interest in Japanese electric locomotives. I like the white gloves on the driver's formal attire. Part of this EF63 is currently preserved in working condition, but I would like to see it run up the steep slope just before the abandoned railway line again.
Thank you for your comment. Is it a sign next to the railroad tracks? This is a slope sign that says go 3,280 feet and climb 218.8 feet.

@@ED761011 I mean in general. I don’t know if it’s Japanese, Chinese or Korean🫤. But thank You for the video - it’s very nice to see professionally done job.
Why is the driver manipulating the brake handle constantly? The train is climbing the hill and need all the energy it could get, why take the energy away by applying brake?
@@ED761011 What are the brake steps of the EF 63? In Taiwan, the brake is "release"-"steps of brake"-"emergency(??)". I presume that what you mean is the driver alternating between "release" and "hold"?
