Do you know a way to properly intersect outline character parts in Adobe animate like toonboom? Especially a way to make something similar to “auto patch” or “colour- override” feature?

You can use 'Lighten' blending mode on a top duplicate. It is better to weld the element that is behind, and make the front one part of the main rig.
