ON the Remmette, you could heat the ferro rod holder in the middle and pinch it and let it cool to make a friction retention. Kydex is pretty east to work with.

Also wanted a Bowtie as soon as I saw the initial release, but not a coated blade fan, so looking forward to your thoughts on the satin one!!

Good to see that the Watchman W206 is back in stock. The last time I checked it was sold out. Also, you’re not the first one to sing this blade’s praises. I have a drop point CRK Nyala. But I never got around to picking up one in the Insingo blade shape. It rubs me the wrong way to be buying an obvious clone. But since CRK discontinued the knife, I’m left with few options. It’s rare to see Nyalas on the secondary market. It’s been months since I’ve seen a listing. And if you do see a listing, they’re double the original retail price. I don’t want one that bad.

The first one is actually the Joker Erizo TS1. There's a larger version of it called the Joker Rabbit with a longer blade of the same shape and the exact same grip. I've only found it in the 1.4116 steel though instead of the Bohler N695 which I'd rather have. Great review, and thanks for these wonderful finds for us to consider.

I have some cold steel mini fix blade, some other premium brands, but Kizer is the goat: super comfortable in hand, clear cuts, easy resharpening.

I have a couple Casstrom bushcraft knives, they're really nice. Maybe a bit expensive for the materials but they do a great job on fit and finish, very comfortable contouring on the handles, and the heat treats seem really good. Well, at least that's my experience with their Sleipner.

That belt clip on the Two sun works so well. The hook under the clip ensures that it never comes off your belt. It is made for inside the waistband, and I switched out all my knives with those clips.

Thanks for the list. I have several in baskets but haven't pulled the trigger, am a folding knife EDC guy until now. That needs to change. One that I am looking at that is not on your list - the Kubey KU376A by Mikkel Willumsen Design in Micarta & 14C28N for around $70-80. Blade under 3" but with a large choil for full 4-finger purchase.

That second Watchman isn't the Izula clone. There is another one that's an exact copy but made in the Sandvik steel. I own both types and love them. But I find the Izulu clone to be a bit easier to use. Both are easy to get a super sharp edge on, and stay sharp after whittling and field dressing game. I'd urge you to look up and buy the clone. It's also only $32! As always, love your videos! Keep em coming

Those are sweet... I got a Kizer cabox over a yr ago and really didn't like the look with the ring on the end so I kept it in box for a long time & a couple months ago I pulled it out & tried it a few days & was blown away. Sharp as broken glass, good steel, the handle actually feels OK in hand & it holds an edge. D2 steel. I was really surprised. I carry it almost daily now, lol. Check it out.

The Sixleaf looks, to me, almost exactly luke a Case Sodbuster. The blade shape is pretty much the same and even the shape if the handle looks the same. Even though I don't carry one much, any more, as over time I have really gravitated toward locking folders I carried one for years and the Sodbister is one of my favorite slipjoint styles. A knife that is more or less a fixed blade version of a Sodbuster interests me.

I love small fixed blades, but I can’t stand Kydex. It’s just another plastic thing in our lives. In my opinion leather, properly treated is always better. And all those awful rivets. They take up way too much space. Thanks 🎸🔪

That mini harpoon would've been nice if it had kydex and gotten rid of those awful yellow scales those 2 things are a deal breaker for me then again i never understood this weird obsession with ultem as a whole it doesn't justify jacking the price up.
