I just found an 'alfil' twist pen and it is the first pen that fits all my requirements. I believe it is cheap, but not sure, because i just found 1 lying around. It is extremely light, small, doesnt open in my pocket, has refills i can easily aquire and still writes really nice. Its also made of aluminium. The back has a touchscreen knob, which i dont care about but thats okay. It also had a decent pocket clip. The beauty about this pen is it still is a great pen without the top part. I just pulled the top part from my pen and now its even smaller and still writes amazing. If you really care about a pocket clip, you have to keep the back part on though

The new pen with the clip on the mech is made by Jordy from Focusworks. He also makes the pocket clips for the Billetspin pens.

It's a shame I'm just now looking into more machined pens (I've owned the Machine Era original for a few years now) only to find that Smooth Precision Pens has utterly disappeared from existence.

Hi, how is the grip on that original Tactile Turn pen? What do you make of the materials used and the overall machined design of it? Is it equally as well machined or better than the Machine Era? I own the DLC Machine Era field pen twist and find it to be a super duper pen. Thinking of buying either a titanium Machine Era Field Twist pen or the original Tactile Turn (the model you present here). Wondering what is the better pen. Thank you.

@@jennifercorrea8890 ooh hm that’s a very tough comparison! They’re very different. TT is running a 15% off sale today so I’d say it’s worth a shot at this price :)

My grip on the OG is better and grippier than my newer ones.

You wanna see a cool mechanism? Check out Taiwanese makers TIJPEN. I suggest their PRO+ model. No springs, and super-tight tolerances to avoid tip slop. I know how much you hate the wiggle!
