Not at all, most hotels will provide the gym for free, and each plate of food was probably £4 or £5 on the hotels books, drinks probably cost the bar £2 each. Its just a shot with some juice. you can never beat the buffet! Or all inclusive hotel in this case

I was in Mexico for my honeymoon years ago and there was a massive tropical storm overnight one night; bless the hard working staff, they were working their butts off the next morning fixing the resort up. By the end of Breakfast time you’d barely know there’d been a storm at all. Place was immaculate.

I'm going on an all inclusive solo holiday next week to Fuerteventura. I'm slightly nervous about it, I've travelled solo many times and enjoy it, its probably the best way to travel but I've never been to a All Inclusive resort/hotel. Dear Ed, I lived near NYC most of my early days and met people from all over the world. Turkish folks are among my favorites. Very Hospitable, friendly, engaging. Ah Yes lightning, Currently we're having a chilly spell because we're in between two hurricanes. One in the Carribean and the other in the Pacific. Over the years I've heard extremely loud thunder claps. A local pool had a slide....lots of excercise climbing up the stairs and fun sliding down. Mediterranean countries have fabulous seafood.... Weather is determined by latitude (proximity to the equator). For example New Zealands south island has a similar climate to the UK, just with the seasons reversed, because it's almost as far south of the equator as the UK is North.

I am staying in a 5 star hotel in Lara beach all inclusive for 7 nights all for £576. Check out jet 2 during the last week in November. I am allowing £120 for flights and £40 per night for double room with a side sea view, so £400 before I start eating and drinking.. I will get my money's worth

Went on an all inclusive with the family this year. 3 of us done 10-13 coktails a day for 6 days so averaged 35 between us a day was no where near getting our total bill but at a low price of £5 a cocktail we manged over 1k total on just cocktails 😅

I went to an all inclusive in the summer with my 10 year old. Thought great it will save me money as she is always hungry. The food and drink was disgusting, it looked like dog food, in fact wouldn’t even feed my dog it. So I had to pay for all meals out including breakfast I was gutted

Really interesting video. I used to love premier inn hotel breakfasts when they served Costa coffee- if you got two you’d basically made your money back already! Overall, I don’t find all inclusive holidays to be good value, the local restaurants usually have nicer food and a lot of European countries make their drinks really strong so I don’t spend £60 a day. Also gives you less freedom if you have to be back at the resort at lunch although I’m more of an explorer type than a sit by the pool and drink so I guess it depends who you are!

When in BKK, take a side trip to Siem Reap in Cambodia (one of the greatest places on earth - and cheeeap!) The Angkor Wat complex is an absolute must and Downtown Siem Reap at night is wonderful. Phuket is also amazing. Kuala Lumpur is amazing. Singapore (most like it) Hmm it was so hot and a bit sterile. Hong Kong and Tokyo is a MUST! Seoul was cool. India - of course, its an experience.
