Best content for a while. When I worked pumping petrol a long time ago, I learnt that you should always replace radiator hoses when replacing a radiator ( keep the old hoses as spares in the boot for emergencies.) Gvien that old crud existed in the radiator, i would also have flushed the block and if I was lucky to own a classic here in Australia I would have used waterless coolant replacement to not only improve running but also safeguard the cooling system. Also whilst working on the car I would have taken the battery out and given it a good charge on a decent charger.

Nice work Edd! Living here in the States we very much appreciate the work you're doing on this classic Mustang. I'll bet you're not done with it yet though.. fuel injection and 4-wheel disc brakes in its future perhaps?? Time will tell.
Edd great video, just one concern. You might want to consider that starter wiring. It looks like youre effectively running the start trigger through two relays/solenoids. The Apron solenoid and the PMGR starters solenoid. Thats a recipe for "starter run on" where a back feed keep the PMGR solenoid energised for a second or two longer than necessary and can wreck that starter or even ring gear If you Google "Mustang PMGR starter run on" you'll see its a well known thing in old Mustang/Fords with apron solenoids and PMGR upgrades.

No expansion bottle on a Mustang. You fill to just over the fins inside the radiator not the cap neck and the space in the header is the expansion tank. The hose vents down the radiator and just drips onto the road.
