I'm not tiny like you so I prefer the length of the Girl on the Go jacket. But I've been wanting a reasonably priced subzero rated trench but with removable lining for a while and watching this prompted me to check EB site again and I found that you can now get the 'Girl on the Go' with an insulated removable lining 😁

Love this jacket! I live in PNW and I would love a rain jacket like this, I have so many hiking type ones and they are practical but not cute. You could easily change out the hood drawstring that you're not a fan of! If you don't want to DIY it you could bring a string you like to a tailor. :)

I just hit the Eddie Bauer outlet by my house and scored the Greenlake Trench Coat (olive green), the ladie's Bramble Parka (dark charcoal, almost black TEAL color!), and a pair of Hunter Pac ankle boots for the snow and rain. I am now set for LIFE on outerwear essentials!! I used to work for the EB call center 25yrs ago, and still have and use the stuff I got from 30 YEARS ago. I never bought a coat, or boots. I was always getting camping gear and stuff for my husband to wear (he was 6ft 8, they had tall everything!) or I probably wouldn't need them now, but I got REALLY lucky with that Bramble parka. The Bramble Parka was originally 249.99, I got it for 89.99! A lady in the store had just purchased the same jacket online a week before, and paid full price! That piqued my interest, and when I tried it on it fit perfectly! I had been looking for a raincoat, they had MANY options, but I like the way the Greenlake Trench Coat hangs a little bit lower in the back. Looks awesome with everything, it was 89.99 (outlet store price), and the comfy, cuddly boots were 76.30. I never shop, quality, practicality and longevity are what I want to pay for, and EB never lets me down.

@@Travelfashiongirl Lol! More amazing than we'd thought, actually! After searching my MANY many Eddie Bauer sources, I couldn't find the coat *anywhere* online, and nobody had heard of it. I put on some stronger reading glasses, and discovered that it's a MEN'S Bramble Parka, they don't MAKE a ladie's, lol!!! Someone at the outlet store must've tried it on, walked around the store, then taken it off and hung it up in the LADIE'S section, lucky me! I THOUGHT that it was rather blockish, even for a heavy EB winter coat! The shoulders are *really* square, but I can cinch it in at the waist, so I'LL TAKE it!! Living in the PNW, home of Mr. EB himself, the color "storm cloud" (or some similar name, looks like a light charcoal teal!) looks good either walking down the street OR by the river. My SON tried it on, though and ohhh, I *may* have to get another one AFTER all? Nah!! HE likes Carharrts. It's been raining like HELL here (before the mild heat wave shows up), so I've been prancing around in my Greenlake Trench Coat and booties, I thought I'd have to WAIT!! I thought I'd better let you know about the parka, though. Id hate to have someone trying to chase down a *non-existent* garment, lol! It sure was an eye-opener about how much more functional MEN'S clothing is, even tech-based things. I *wondered* WHY there were so many pockets, and WHY were they so damned HUGE. Usually the zippers or pocket positioning would clue me in instantly, but I was obviously asleep at the wheel on *that* shopping day!
