I mean, I do ship them and stan but I don't even think they need to get married and all that. And hopping back on the topic of bro love, the thing is thats exactly what I wanted with Eddie and Buck. I understand what everyone who is disagreeing that Eddie and Buck are just really close bros who care for one another but that type of relationship still exists even within the gay community as well and it would be nice to see it happen as well for those characters as well. That's why it feels like queer baiting. Us in the queer community have all kinds of relationships, but it's hard to break the barrier with hetero men because they aren't shown as fluid in their identity. It's why some of us have been eager to see if anything blooms, even if it was something small like to see if Eddie and Buck kiss to see if they are interested in each other. They already have the feelings there for each other.

His character becomes romantically involved with Lafayette and they ended up just recasting the character of James and the actor Nathan Parsons took over for the final season. Luke refused to portray a gay man at all. It’s so silly when men act like this over kissing a man for their JOB. I’m sure he didn’t feel morally wrong for pretending to be a murderer for a role but god forbid he kisses someone that is a man. It’s a fictional role that they get paid for. I actually think it’s awesome to see straight men having no issues with portraying a gay character. There’s countless male actors who are straight but have played gay roles. Like Darren Criss for example or Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family. Then on the opposite end, some people harass actors because they are convinced that they are secretly gay as if it’s impossible for them to convincingly portray that character. It’s so hypocritical when fans harass singers like Shawn Mendes because they are obsessed with the idea he is gay as if his sexual orientation is even remotely relevant to his fans. It’s even more delusional with the One Direction stand that are obsessed with the conspiracy theory of Harry and Louis being secret lovers. People need to realize how ignorant it is to expect actors to be just like their fictional characters and they need to realize that they do not know these celebrities they obsess over and their love life isn’t any of our business. *sorry this was super long* 😬

When buck left the 118 and was gonna sue the station for wrongful termination who was the most upset?? Eddie. Even scolded him like a spouse saying Christopher missed him. That Christmas episode where the lady thought buck and Eddie were his dads and buck didn’t correct her. Eddie literally puts buck in his will to be Christopher’s guardian if anything happens to him and said he doesn’t trust anyone more than buck with his son. If I’m being honest in the earlier seasons the chemistry is pretty obvious but I have a strong feeling that was just the writers queerbaiting to raise ratings and they had no intention of anything really happening between them. Then as more and more people began to call them out for queerbaiting and losing interest in the show they decided to make buck bisexual and added Tommy to again raise ratings. In the beginning I would have loved for Eddie and buck to get together but at this point in the story it wouldn’t make sense and would feel forced.

Actually I feel like for the season they’ve really been trying to keep them apart. The first 1- 3 seasons I think they did what the fans wanted and making very obvious remarks and gestures. Teasing can only last so long until it becomes frustration. I don’t know what they’re doing this season. I said over a year ago that the writers were queer bating and now I seem to be correct. Maybe because it's Fox TV but either they realize that people were catching on to bait and switch or maybe the main characters are uncomfortable ect. You know the last time I checked they weren't together. If people really want to see shows where the people are actually gay instead of queerbaiting. You got Lonestar.. or 911 Lone Star. You've got the Vampire Diaries spin-offs. And you also have Roswell New Mexic TV show o and Shadowhunters actual shows with actual gay characters having actual gay storylines. In most cases actual gay weddings at the end. Or rather at some point Peter buried he's also some show about a creek that's also got a gay wedding and two I just don't remember the name.
