We met Eddie two weeks ago and watched him work. Seeing the beautiful fabrics he wove ruined me forever. I can see the difference now between hand and machine weaving. Support his dying art by investing in his craft. If you can't visit, purchase online.

Wish I could have understood his voice more. The violins drowned out most of what he was saying. Oh Well. Patricia-South Padre Island, Texas

Went to Eddies when we were in Ireland 4 years ago. What a brilliant individual . Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with him. A great talent with the highest quality products. My wife and I hope to visit him again in the future. Keep up the great work Eddie

Eddie is still going strong in the same little shop in Ardara. I stopped to see him for a chat this past June. A new distillery has opened in Ardara, and scarves made with Eddie's handwoven tweed can be bought from them. He has a website of his own as well. You won't find too much handwoven tweed anymore, But Eddie is the real deal.

So lovely! I have some Irish tweed, sadly don't know who wove it. Would you take on an apprentice?

So much more hygenically done than in the 1970s (: I just watched a old documentary called hands and it was gross so much stuff put on the florr, not washed properly.... Not washing fruits and veg before ueing them and on n on , nice to see that we've learned better now

Ah nice, To be able to spin on the spinning wheel while the sheep 🐑 sleep. To spin the wool or flax for fabric on the weaving loom for your back. Yes it is a dying art.
