People seem to underestimate Eddie and forget how strong he is, naturally. He has beat Brian before on the table when neither of them had training. A very interesting match for sure!

@@KentuckyArmBattles you can force a win while ruining your shoulder elbow or wrist. I expect to see carnage in this match. Eddies ego is to big to lose without injury

Eddie Hall has had some pointers already when he beat Brian Shaw. He, in a way, knew some of the mechanics of AW already. After that "match", though, Brian Shaw, with just a couple of pointers as well, has never lost to Eddie Hall. Either or, though, these two would be good for AW status.

@bencarignan27117 күн бұрын
Agreed. He seems to have a better feel for angles and leverage. Should be a better match than people are claiming.
@blackenedsprite85426 күн бұрын
He probably looks a little more coordinated because he's 6 inches shorter and smaller arms (length). I had a similar situation when training Wing Chun; I looked uncoordinated because I'm 6'5'' and long arms, but anyone who I rolled with felt that I wasn't at all. Appearances can be deceptive.
@jimmypeach88387 күн бұрын
One of Eddie's biggest problems will be following Neil's advice in the heat of battle..... when Eddie boxed Thor all his technique went out the window like he never trained lol
@ATomRileyA6 күн бұрын
That was because his arm was fucked and he ended up fighting one armed, also cause Eddie wanted to KO thor so i think the red mist came down.
@blackenedsprite85426 күн бұрын
Technique is one thing, but my suspicion is Eddie can make up any experience or training gap with raw attitude. Brian seems too nice at the table almost. It doesn't guarantee anything, but it's an interesting element

Eddie's best chance will be from the go, he's 100% quicker and more explosive, but if brian can be perfect in the loading up it's gonna be a tough night, nonetheless I'm routing for eddie, yes I know technique is a big part of an arm wrestling match but they are both new to the sport.
@julianlaustsen19917 күн бұрын
imo eddie is doing the same mistake as leonidas and larry. he opens his arm to much and goes outside. a strong bencher and shoulder guy like eddie should go inside with sidepressure
@matthewday30867 күн бұрын
@julianlaustsen1991 get that but it's alot harder than that, that's why neil is there to guide eddie, thing is with a press you can easily be put into that break arm position
@blackenedsprite85426 күн бұрын
I'm not overly invested in the outcome, but I want Brian to win only because I think he's serious about jumping off from this point and Eddie isn't. I'd like to see Brian win so he can continue his upward trajectory and not get deflated and potentially give him a reason to reconsider.

Eddie had a hard time pinning this NOBODY guy and his match is barely one month away LOL Brian Shaw's pinning professional arm wrestlers when he nearly first started. That is the only observation we need to see really in this video. What's their peak right now? Brian Shaw also said he was going to post videos showing bad technique close to the time of his match on purpose just to throw everybody off. Brian is playing mind tricks. That's how I know he's a competitor. People are still falling for his bad technique in his videos even though it's part of him play mental games with everyone. He really is a game player LOL

@@armwarsofficial Currently to me it's a total mismatch. Brian is taking AW seriously and not for this match alone while Eddie is casually responding to the challenge and doing anything he can.. but the day later he quits. He can not catch up with Brian and the mocking match Brian had is probably harder than how Eddie would feel. Eddie is strong but not an AW.

it's how u r to start a match in an official match on what the ref is looking for, and u cannot cover your opponent's thumb knuckle, also, to "cap" is if u want to cover your own thumb with your fingers, or not, since the ref will have to set your grip by hand. i hope that's helpful, or is what u were asking for.

Why do you believe that about Eddie ? Genuine question.
@michaelcook64837 күн бұрын
@@dodumichalcevski i judge people based on how much they think of other people vs how much they think of themselves. Ego vs Humility should balance. These are my criteria for a good vs bad person. I expect everyone to have different criteria. Ego is essencial for athletes. But a lack of humility leaves the ego by itself, and the ego becomes disgusting to others. I think its our natural evolutionary instinct to not want to be around men who horde all the food and women for themselves.

I think your confusing Eddie being confident and talking shit with who he really is, part of being a champion is believing you can beat anyone your up against, you have to be like that to drive yourself. Everyone has a Ego, Eddies may be louder at times but that is part of what makes him a champion.
@Papaspronator6 күн бұрын
Neil I think Eddie is going to lose to Brian, he just hasn’t had enough time. However I really hope you do your best to keep Eddie in the sport. Devon just called out Eddie to pull Auden. That would be a great match to keep him in the sport hopefully after this.
