Surprisingly Eddie is about 33/34. Thought he would have been alot older not that he looks older but he has such a grasp on what he is talking about you would think he has been doing this for 20 odd years. I like Frank also and i take my hat off to him for doing BoxNation, it is still a work in progress and he is doing a good job. it may not be the most profitable business modeal at the moment but i think it will get there. we cant always be relying on just Sky for our boxing.

I agree about the advertising. UFC seems more like a competitive version of WWE. I don't know why Dana keeps promoting it in a Sports Entertainment way rather than a serious Sport. And for that reason UFC and the sport of MMA will remain more of a spectacle alongside Pro Wrestling whilst Boxing rubs shoulders with Tennis, Golf, Formula 1 etc.

Ive never known a boxer of his talent, nearly 30 years old and undefeated yet has never had a super fight yet. its not that he is not capable it is that he is unwilling. i think he favors commentating for HBO these days and that is were he makes his money now. Froch should just forget about this guy he is bringing nothing to the table and expects things to go his way when he doesnt deserve it, he is not in a position to make any demands.

Eddie says he wants to limit the PPV fights this year, so would Froch's ego take NOT being a PPV fighter? Plus Groves is promoted by Adam Booth who may want to arrange it like that and max out the card like Garcia-Matthysse being on the Mayweather-Canelo card. UFC is huge in the US that's it, even in the US boxing still sets the highest ppv gates, In Mexico boxing is a religion, Boxing is more popular is South America and Europe also, the Klitsckho's sell out 50000 seater stadiums every fight, Even Fighters like David Haye earns twice as much as the UFC highest earners.

I can't get into UFC, I find myself implementing boxing rules into it, cos in boxing nobody likes a long clinch and that's a main part of UFC clinching/grappling , I'm like COME ON REF separate them. But eh,

UFC grew a lot in a short period but its kind of dying out now people still watch it but the numbers have thinned out boxing will always be popular but UFC will die out other MMA things will come up and take over maybe MMA fighters should all fight each other not just UFC or cage rage fighters fighting each other just to row an even bigger audience I just still can't ever see MMA taking over boxing

Eddie Hearn knows Froch can NOT beat Ward. Thats why he will milk Froch until he is ready to retire, then and only then will he allow Froch to face Ward. Froch wants to go down as an all time great but he is not even the best boxer in his own weight class. Styles make fights and if Froch is truly an all time great he must be able to adapt and find a way to beat Ward. Time to grow a pair and fight Ward again (message to Eddie..we all know Froch would fight him in heart beat)

I know its an ego thing because he is a big fighter that sells out arenas but froch v groves is not a ppv fight on its own. I don't even think its a big fight at all to be honest froch is a big name but groves is not. it would be perfect for undercard as co main event for haye v fury would add to the ppv buys. look at canelo v mayweather the arena sold out hours after but there still adding massive fights like danny Garcia vs mathysse to the bill which is way bigger than froch v groves

Test the waters and lose money? Nobody is interested in womens boxing. Not all sports in the Olympics can be succesful and make money on the professional circuit. Alot of Olympic sports pay tuppance hapney like water polo and trampolining, diving, etc. Theres probably more people interested in what David Cameron has for breakfast than interested in womens boxing. sorry but thats the truth.
