Eddies take on the low blow was spot on, at the point of impact it was way below the belly button and uysks reaction was not consistent with a genuine body shot, theres always a slight dely before the fighter goes down, but uysk went down immediately with no delay at all.

100% correct look at the punch again. DDDs swings a low hook, at no point on impact does any of the leather of DDDs glove land on Usyks stomach/skin. Daniels right hand makes impact, the right side of his glove lands the lowest. Thats where all the power is being genereated into on a right hook. On top of that the guard could have be clattered out of place, jolting a testicle up. Daniel should have thought himself lucky that he didnt get a point deducted considering he landed an illigal foul on Usyks right thigh with a left hook and there was also a rabbit punch that wasnt acknowleged by the ref. The ref did a good job. He tried to let the fight flow as much as possible. The ref went easy on DDD saying it was unintentionally low, when he could have penalised him. People should be also talking about Daniel going down. He did quit. He was done. He had nothing left in the tank and used his opportunity to get out of there. That was a check right, with about as much power in it as a parried hook or a solid jab.

50% of a Fighters purse should be put into Escrow, once the final result comes in clean it is released to them. If they fail it's withheld until they clear their name, if a ban is issued it's released to the other fighter who was potentially put at Risk from someone taking PEDS. If they fail prior to a fight they should have something in the contract that they have to pay up for it. Unless it hits them in the wallet it wont change.

Interestingly according to the WBA sanctioning body "a Referee should watch for blows that are parried and land below the belt. This is not a foul. Referees will also watch for boxers who may turn or move suddenly causing the opponent’s blow to land low. This is not a foul either." If you watch the replay Dubois' punch was parried which should be taken into consideration.
