That’s the vibe I was getting. It would’ve been bad if Brian lost after all of the hype and support. That’s the issue when the armwrestling community hypes up a newcomer too much. It builds a lot more expectations and puts extra pressure on that newcomer. They don’t want Brian to be another Larry Wheels.

Enough already with this crap. Brian dominated that match and the only real win he got was the one round with the strap. If they would have gone back to the strap I would have bet the house Brian still dominates. The overall power and strength Brian showed Eddie really had no answer for. Eddie and Neil have been from the beginning that we only had 6 weeks blah blah blah Liars!!! Eddie has been AW on and off for years and Neil trained him about 2 years ago when Eddie first got interested. Fact is Eddie has had much more table time in matches than Brian 'Godzilla' Shaw. I think so too. Eddie (and everyone else) knew that it would be bad if Brian lost to a guy who just trained for a couple of weeks. Especially after all of the hype and support from the community. Might’ve been more disappointing than Larry Wheels. They don’t want Brian to be the next Larry Wheels. That’s the problem when people keep hyping up Brian as a potential Levan-slayer in the future. Eddie lost. Brian won. It's that simple. It wasn't even close. Brian won 4 out of 6 rounds, and one of the rounds he lost was because he fouled out. It was an absolutely dominant victory. Even if they did a match that was straps only, I don't think Eddie wins simply because he won one round with straps in this match.

The strap didn't help him at all....what helped him was getting in brians head before GO. Eddie was constantly yelling that Brian was loading and Eddie was just fast off the snap...and that was is shown in every attempt that Eddie got the better of Brian. Brian has no defense for sure tho and I was very surprised at Eddies defense for such little training u can see he understood the dynamics much better than it seem Brian did which u can tell in his training videos that some of the dynamics seem odd or foreign to him so he struggles to have that instinct that Eddie seems to possess.
@LuLzzz390
@LuLzzz390 22 күн бұрын
Yes but no... The biggest factor that led to him winning that round was that with the straps eddie was finally able to apply his back pressure to stonewall bryan and pin him back something that he was unable to do before due to brian constantly bending his wrist back, It's not like the trash talk magically made him win once he got the straps.
@TheShamrockKing
@TheShamrockKing 22 күн бұрын

@@zacrongaming2908 Eddie has achieved greater feats of strength then Brian in essentially every major lift. Of course its not directly related to arm-wrestling.. but they where both perusing the same thing at those times and Eddie was better. I think Eddie would be more interesting, more stylistic, more dexterous, entertaining etc. Which the potential im gauging more then just being massive. Yeah like of course a elephant has more potential then a gorilla in terms of how much damage they can do to a fence... ( i know that is a extreme and so so analogy.. but you get me im sure ). I don't think it always comes down to mass and frame in this sport with potential.. look at Devon. He beats much bigger framed people easy. He is only bigging up Brian to try to take down Levan in the future I think. As mass beats mass combined with styles make matches. I personally don't find the monster sized arm wrestlers as interesting as well. Its like they are decent arm wrestlers.. but their superiority is purely their size..
