Interesting, did anything happen/change? If that's right: that our voting system hasn't changed (or people have had no chance to vote on whether it should?) in 100 years that is totally shocking & wrong: our societies & beliefs & our personal lives have changed SO much in that century = surely it's WAY past time that clever people came up with various good proposals/solutions and put them to the people FAIRLY & SIMPLY so we can make a real choice not swayed (impossible?!) by advertising being controlled by the wealthiest = as usual. Why only a binary choice - and not even that really coz one is what we have & know - & already know it doesn't work fairly or well?

Ever seen the UK Parliament in action? It's the most deplorable social setting I've seen in any government. I've seriously seen more professionalism in a crack house. People literally falling out of their chairs, howling and berating anybody for any reason. It's a fucking embarrassment. And yeah nice to see none of that shit going on here =)
