No lip-syncing, no autotune.... Just incredible raw talent. Actual singers are almost non-existent now. Not sure if young people can understand the magnitude of this talent since everything is electronically manufactured now.

How so? In the 70s and 80s he had 11 top 40 songs. Was nominated for a Grammy, "can't hold back" album was certified platinum and "take me home tonight" reached #4 on the Billboard hot 100 chart. Definitely not underrated or under appreciated. He was super famous. I think you mean under appreciated by the people you know? Because he got plenty of recognition and awards.

I dont understand how people can say he was underrated or underappreciated. He's a rock legend. Widely regarded as one of the greatest rockers ever. I mean, he's not on the level of Zeppelin, The Stones, Pink Floyd. But hes definitely one of the greats!

It's kind of annoying when good rock bands start thinking "outside the box" and think it's a good idea to bring horns on stage for the tours. It seldom works, unless you're Chicago and it's part of your foundation, and usually throws off the balance of sound.
