I’m only 23 years old, but my mom introduced me to Eddie Money back when I was in middle school. On our way to my basketball training sessions, we would always rock out to his cd. This song was always my favorite of his! To this day, I still listen to him almost daily and even me and my mom still listen to him when we are together! RIP to a musical legend, Eddie Money.

When you hear 80s arena rock (especially an underappreciated lost song like this), it's like you're being transported to another time. There's nothing that sounds like this in the mainstream today, which makes it sound so special. It reminds me of growing up in the early 90s too

I’d like to say right on about your first statement. The rest of it is only what should matter to you. Rap, snap blah blah that you speak of exactly that...crappy. Instruments AND lyrics will be the only thing that saves “rap music”. Current music period. Let that be their problem and the Machine’s problem. Don’t get caught in the machine. I believe Cheech said it best in “Earache my Eye”: I’m so bloody rich/ I own apartment buildings and shopping centers/and I only know 3 chords. Please don’t let today’s lack of art bother you. We were luckily given Art from Artists HeArts...we just had two tickets to paradise take by two bad ass men that shared their craft with folks like you and me. I hope there’s a few more tickets and one will have my name on it...keep on rocking in the free world my friend!🤙🏿

+Jeffrey Hinkle I know what you mean. I can't stand Poison. I liked them until Bret did that stupid reality show. I was thinking for God's sakes, Bret is old, bald, married, or might as well be, and the girls competing were young enough to be his daughter. Then, I thought about Ratt, and their videos were horrible. That was like watching a trainwreck, but the deeper Robbin got in to screwing up, the less the camera was on him. Robbin just essentially MADE Warren a guitar God. I thought Juan Croucier could dance, but I hated his makeup. It looked better than mine. I thought he was a genius songwriter. Gosh, I was an idiot then.

Where's the Party? Tour in the 1980's in a 10,000 seat arena and Love and Money Tour in the 1990's in a club. Eddie has a energized show. No fancy light show, just good music. Some bands have this spirit about them, Eddie is one of the few. You walk out the show going,"damn that was good!"

He had ups and downs--as we all do--but Eddie Money was a GOOD man. Many of you young kids don't know this, but when Eddie was big, he let a young band called Bon Jovi open for him on several occasions. John said they had very little money, and Eddie would let them come on his bus and make sandwiches. Eddie Money was one of the good guys.

This song was in Joe Dirt? .....................................Well, yet another example of them taking all our stuff from the 80s and putting in "their" era... I mean geez, they all made/make so much fun of us, yet those same ones that keep stealing our music, movies, now our ripped jeans and big hair are back in style and they walk around like they are so cool and hip and original........ hell my daughter was swiping things out of my closet from the time she was 10 LOL I guess it's true. The 80s and first half of the 90s were the last time anything original or worth a crap happened or came out !
@mnmfreak5025 жыл бұрын
canWego Backintime not only that but Joe was a huge fan of 80s rock music. Not to mention the movie came out nearly 20 years ago.

Money admitted that he wishes he didn't have to play one of his biggest hits, 1986's "Walk on Water," at every show. "I hate singing 'Na na na na na na na na na,'" he noted. "I feel really silly singing the song, but you gotta go out there and do the songs that they love. 'Na na na na na na na na na.' I mean, come on. You try doing that for 30 years in a row. It's not even a lyric. It was supposed to be a horn part, but the horn player never showed up, so I had to do it with my mouth."

Seems like that part of the song is the backup singers/band members,no?

Billy Graham texted me this day and I asked him if there is a Queen of Heaven? He said No. So I am actually correcting a miscommunication and any misconceptions . Thank you for your patience and support, I honestly now know that there's alot of untruthfulness available at the touch/text. Sincerely, Cami Lynn Mutchler Cox Mutchler

There is a Queen of Heaven. She's the "Mother of God" the Blessed Virgin Mary. God's own creature he used to become human flesh to dwell amongst us and save us from our sin.

What sucks is, even being in Joe Dirt (2001) probably hardly gets this song any more views because that movie is old itself now. It needs to be in a modern videogame or movie so it can get revived for this generation!

2:27 Welder later explaining to his boss... "I was just welding some shit together and Eddie Money showed up... I told them they had to wear steel toed boots and take a lock out / tag out class to be in the warehouse but they wouldn't listen. I tried to call Larry at the front gate to ask what the hell was going on. There was this lady wondering around outside. She looked really upset. At 1:51 She kicked one of the lights out with her leg really hard. I saw it. It was like WHAM and shit flew everywhere..."
