I’m a 42 year old man, I’ve been in war and been in the ring and the cage. But this character brought me to sobbing mess. Bring back Eddie, the metal hero of the ages!!!

Before his final sacrifice he was already a hero to kids at his school who were lonely, lost, and needed a group to belong to. He also made Crissy feel comfortable and laugh when he saw she needed support. A true hero in every way! The icing on the cake for me is that he’s a metal head.....rock on Eddie!!!

Eddie taught all of us what it takes to be a hero! It takes more than overcoming fear your and terror of becoming a hero! Eddie this one is for you 🏅A model of honor for sacrificing your life to save others!

I'm just surprised they were able to make such a well written and beloved character in just one season. Rest in peace Eddie, we won't forget you.

I was a punching bag and a joke when I was a kid. My family said I was the one who was going to prison first. I was no one, and no one was who I became. Empty inside as a problem child. Eddie reminded me who I was then and how far I have come since then. Homeless twice, but always gave the middle finger to the end of the road. I don't believe in heroes, but I do believe in people that just won't quit. If I'm going to die, it'll be on my feet, not on my knees. Being a metal head saved my life. If it wasn't for others like me who found comfort in a mosh pit , collecting Iron Maiden posters or Pins & Patches for my blue jean jaket ..... I'd probably would've killed myself long ago. Eddie is a Race of people that will always find each with a simple embrace of metal t-shirts or tattoos. Just by looking at each other, we know we know each already. Thank You Eddie .... I knew you before I even saw you ... Metal forever...

That is what chaotic good truely looks like. Spitting in the the face of the establishment, not because it is the establishement but because it deserve to be spat on, and desiring to look after others. Even going as far as offering comfort to the depressed, and ultimately looking the grimreaper in the face and flipping him the bird because of a fight that is worth fighting for.

All that I though about during the scene where he stopped running was "Just keep swimming Just keep swimming" If he kept running, I love you Eddie

I love Eddie so much and i am a part of hellfire and i will always live Eddie and when Eddie died I cried so hard and he was so nice to everyone and he was so nice to Dustin,Mike my mom was like are you really crying and I told her yes I was and she said it is just a show and I was like I know it is but it is so sad I think Eddie's death was the sadest I felt so bad for Dustin and what do you know i am going to cry again cuz I am rewatching stranger things I miss Eddie Munson
Here's an idea, how about using Metallica's "The Outlaw Torn" for an Eddie Munson video? When you read the lyrics, you'll see why I suggested it. I would also suggest "Rainbow in the Dark" by Dio for Eddie. Trust me, both songs fit.
