Eddie's Death by Deadlift is the most impressive by far. Pulling 60kg - 420kg - 60kg with every lift but the 420 being a speed rep, with no suit or belt and already tired from a previous attempt is absolutely nuts. Say what you will about Eddie's personality but there's no doubt that peak Eddie was statically stronger than pretty much any strongman ever. My ranking would be: 1. Death by Deadlift 2. 500kg 3. 473kg in the second to last event at WSM 4. 216kg strict axle 5. Hammer hold.

To this day Im not sure anyone can one motion strict press an axle that heavy. Bibi uses a bit of leg drive and Hooper uses a split jerk.Arguably more impressive than his deadlift.

I agree Eddie's is the most impressive because Biby needed 3 attempts and Eddie made it look easy, but I have to disagree partly. Where do you see Biby using leg drive on the 217kg axle? He clearly uses the same form as Eddie which is to lean back and almost Bench press it up. It's strict.
