dont forget his crossfit record too - The 2017 World's Strongest Man recently set the world record for the Isabel CrossFit workout, which consists of 30 snatches with 135 lbs. for time, at the CrossFit European Championships. Hall didn't just break the old record of 1:20, previously held by CrossFit legend Rich Froning, he smashed it at 50.9 seconds.

Eddie's Death by Deadlift is the most impressive by far. Pulling 60kg - 420kg - 60kg with every lift but the 420 being a speed rep, with no suit or belt and already tired from a previous attempt is absolutely nuts. Say what you will about Eddie's personality but there's no doubt that peak Eddie was statically stronger than pretty much any strongman ever. My ranking would be: 1. Death by Deadlift 2. 500kg 3. 473kg in the second to last event at WSM 4. 216kg strict axle 5. Hammer hold.

In "Eddie Hall Death by Deadlift 500kg" on his channel, after the pyramid he pulls 420kg for 4 beltless. Those are two of the greatest feats of deadlift strength of all time. Arguably above the 500kg.

I give Eddie Great respect for the 500 kg deadlift. But I have a problem with him not pushing strongman more. His channel is mostly about him and the antics. No doubt he is a great strongman but he has the popularity to make this sport bigger. I really wish he would do that.

To this day Im not sure anyone can one motion strict press an axle that heavy. Bibi uses a bit of leg drive and Hooper uses a split jerk.Arguably more impressive than his deadlift.
@Adam-bw6dj
@Adam-bw6dj 7 күн бұрын
I agree Eddie's is the most impressive because Biby needed 3 attempts and Eddie made it look easy, but I have to disagree partly. Where do you see Biby using leg drive on the 217kg axle? He clearly uses the same form as Eddie which is to lean back and almost Bench press it up. It's strict.
