People dance bachata because it's easy and simple to do and they get intimidated to dance salsa because salsa has more complex and composition in the music bachatas a 3 Man Band same Rhythm over and over and over.

No matter what Eddie Torres says Puerto Ricans took salsa worldwide the roots of salsa come from Africa Cube adopted it and Puerto Rico modernized it and took it worldwide to another level Cuba stood behind in son and guaracha Charanga. And first off the name salsa does not come from Cuba comes from Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz Puerto Ricans who gave it the name and from Celia Cruz and cachao own mouth sitting down with the Tito Puente in an interview said they never knew what salsa was until they came to be around the NUYOKRIKANS. point blank!!!
