The click-type touch behavior can be turned off, as so the screen acts like a conventional tap-type touch screen. The blank center button is reserved for the Audi AI selfdriving functionality. The left column of shortcut menu items on the main screen can be customized as well.

Very cool! Really shows the degree of flexibility and customization available. This MMI system also worked better than the brand new 992 porsche system I experienced recently.

5:28 -You just glossed over the fact that the lower screen also serves as a handwriting touch pad when entering in information like destinations, addresses, contacts, etc.. And it works really well where you can write entire words (not one letter at a time like the old Audi MMI). And you can switch to a full key board as well. And you missed the incredible parking sensors and 360 camera view with the touch-enabled 3D interactive screen. It’s probably the best one on the market right now.

even it looks nice and shiny, I must say I am dissapointed. I had an opportunity to try and use Audi equipped with this infotainment, and it was hard to use while driving (change Radio, Navi), not mentioning the screen was soon full of fingerprints, and dust particles, it looked awful when the sun shines in the cabin I am maybe an old school without tremor :)) but the knob combined with MMI touch plate was the best solution

Thank you Eddie that's a great video, I'm 67 and just got a 2022 A6 S line I'm totality overwhelmed by all this tech. With my old 2013 A6 I could play all my MP3 files from a memory card and control them from the rotary knob on the centre consul. I cant fine out how to play the same files from my phone, is this possible or am I trying to do something that is impossible in my new car?

On my 23 a6 prestige I can play all my music (playlists, albums, artists, etc) (that I set up from ITunes and synced) from either the bluetooth or usb connection with my iphone. There's no way to insert a memory card without a usb adapter, that I know of. The USB connection is much more reliable though, than bluetooth

I think that’s when the range gets very low and you need to refuel

Is it possible to add different shortcut buttons to the top button section located in the lower screen with the HVAC settings? I have some empty slots in the section of buttons where is the start/stop touch button. I see you have a lot more of functions there and my RS6 has these features as well but not in this particular shortcut buttons section. Do you have a hint on that?

Not bad, but you should disclose the trim level so that potential purchasers understand that many of the features you showcased are only available in the Prestige trim.

I have a Q8 PP S line. You don’t have to have a Prestige to have some of these options. Maybe just the heads up display

The lower MMI screen on my 2019 A6 flickers in the morning when the temp is below 60 degrees. Anybody else experienced this and had the issue resolved by an audi dealer?

How did you find the A6 drive? I have a 2015 A6 TDI. I got it this year and I find it a very comfortable car. I took the car in for service at the dealer and they want to push the new A6 on me already haha. I am interested in hearing how it drives though :)

Does anyone know why this happens: On a 2020 Audi Q3, the center media display light sometimes goes off and the screen becomes dark. As soon as I touch the screen, the light returns.

This was a “good” review but could have been an “excellent” review if you just SLOW DOWN! Maybe you were under a time constraint but short of having to watch the video several times, one or two times at a slower pace would be great.

I just bought a 2020 a5 s line this week and I’m pretty gutted that it actually doesn’t have the ambient lighting package. I presumed that would just be standard on the s line. No such luck. And oddly enough, the lines don’t light up at all, unless I’m outside the car and lock the doors. Then they turn red for a second lol. Otherwise the only option is to change the brightness but it’s just regular led light. Fucking lame 😢
