A note to artists: I'd like to clarify that I am by no means critiquing your work in this video. I actually came across some pretty incredible designs that probably would make for a killer poster or t-shirt or something were it not infringing on Eddsworld's copyright. However, the way thoughtless scammers slap these gorgeous designs onto phone cases and bedsheets for easy money is clearly a disgrace to the artwork they're stealing.
I hope we can all laugh at the absurd decisions made by clueless bootleggers while ALSO acknowledging the beautiful artwork they're stealing and the seriousness of that theft.

Edd’s old Cafepress page is still up, too, as well as most of the merch he designed for it. The first Eddsworld merch I ever bought was a pin from that page that Edd designed of himself, Matt, Tord, and Tom’s faces all on it.

I have a bootleg version of the Legacy “Edd Gould” black t shirt, the one with Edd holding the planet earth in his hands. The original isn’t available anymore, nor has it been for years, hence the bootleg purchase. I do have one official Eddsworld shirt that I purchased two years ago, however, which was part of a limited time Tord-themed, “Redtober,” line. Parodying the Edd Broccoli shirt, the official Tord shirt has him screaming for Bacon!

Back in March 2017 Tomska commissioned a gorgeous Eddsworld Legacy poster from Sophie Fletcher (the OTHER Tomee Bear) and shared it for free on Twitter, encouraging people to print it at home. It's a massive image, so should look pretty great when printed out on any home printer if you wanted any more for your collection

The only bootlegs I actually buy are bootleg plushies. I don't really go for the stolen fanart on shirts or pants because those are just the most shameless knockoffs. At least bootleg plushies have some sense of quality. I actually use DeviantArt Protect because I share my art on DeviantArt because I don't want my art stolen and sold.

Whenever I go to Eddsworld's official store everything is always out of stock. So I can't get anything from the official store. For a really long time now it's been like that and I still don't know why.

im on the site now and a fair amount is in stock. i think it depends on their printers and the costs for getting stuff made at decent quality, and possibly because theyre doing all these newer designs and limited product releases like the plushies. i rec getting on the mailing list to know when stock drops

as an artist on redbuble I find it sad the site isn't known for the actual talent that real artist put into shirts and products, but these bootleggers who just slightly edit photos and say "OuRs NoT sToLeN"

I know there are at least a couple of KZbinrs who do sell their own designs there because it's SO easy to sell your own stuff. It seems like a decent service, they just have serious issues with their lack of copyright protection

It's kind of horrid for me about the posters that I bought in the official eddsworld merch store, two posters was a- WOAH. Well not THAT huge amount but it's expensive for just two posters. And I think they should do something about the injures in the poster's edges. I hope whenever I order any merch from eddsworld it won't be injured again. And the also horrible thing is that when the delivery wasbready to claim, the person said to pay 11$ It's just wrong.

I have absolutely no idea where those bootleg plushies come from. It looks like they're being sold everywhere and a few people seem to own them, but I couldn't find the originator. Weirdly professionally made for something so shamelessly stolen. I'm glad that they did that Makeship collaboration for people who want the real deal.

But they just looked a lil weird to me, and then eventually eddsworld made an official plush, which looks really nice, so I was really happy and bought that one!
