Both of these relate to Tord/Red army, but there are loads more out there. I was originally going to include one of my own, but it was not fully developed enough for a full video.

The bandage makes sense because one of the Tord clones were shot on his cheek in Spares. So that's either a coincidence, or Paul ter Voorde, the animator for the modern Eddsworld, put that there on purpose.

There’s a piece of evidence supporting the Tord is one of the spares clones. In Spares, it shows one of the Tord clones shot in almost the exact same location as Legacy Tord’s bandage. My theory is that the real Tord just built the giant robot offscreen out of boredom or just to create another weapon with Edd’s knowledge of it seeing he is more shocked at the fact that the Tord is attacking the house with a giant robot and not at the robot’s existence. The gunshot at the cheek isn’t very fatal and Tord clone just lost a small amount of blood, just enough to look a bit gruesome. TC probably spied on Tord to gain knowledge of the hat and the robot and how it worked.

Wow that clone theory is pretty legit. Tord was acting unusual in The End. I also think it's possible that without the good influence of Edd and the rest of the crew, Tord went on a spiral into radicalism. The 2005 Christmas special alludes to this and it's one of the earliest Eddisodes out there.

I love this video but I have another theory about why Tord was such a jerk in The End. If you watch it carefully, you can see that he’s constantly trying to get them out of the house. First, he tries to get his robot while their not home. When that doesn’t work, he gets rid of Tom by annoying the hell out of him. Then, while Edd and Matt are distracted with the movie, he attempts to sneak away again. Of course, this doesn’t work and causes him to become frustrated, especially when the two continue to press all of the buttons in his lab. He finally snaps when Matt tries to activate his robot when he isn’t ready for them to see, resulting in him punching poor Matt in the face and trying to make up for it with ice cream. Finally, he ditches them at the store and tries to get away with his robot once and for all without anyone seeing him or getting hurt. Unfortunately, Tom confronts him and he’s forced to continue with his plan since he’s already come so far. He needs to get rid of any witnesses and destroys both his friends and his neighbors home. Also, I don’t believe he wanted to kill Tom, because if you look at the blueprints in his lab, you can see a monster that looks a lot like Tom from Power Edd. Therefore, he knew that Tom would most likely survive the explosion and simply wanted to slow him down. Sorry, I’ve been thinking about this for awhile and needed to put it down somewhere. I love your videos btw!!

What if tord secretly was controlling an army, but it wasn’t the red army. It was it, just didn’t have the name. Then, sees a black void eye person who hates everything except for less than like ten things. He probably thinks, oh my god this is hero time. Then he starts provoking Tom, and builds the army. Then, makes Tom a demon and kills him to be a hero. If I know anything about tord, it’s that he’s a great planner. Or, the tord in the end is the real tord, and the other tord is a clone. I dunno.

The clone theory i heard was about Tord being accidentally shot by Edd when he was spraying bullets at the clones because it pans out of the house after Edd starts shooting the gun. I always thought this theory made sense, because A. how strong he seemed to be in The End especially when he punched Matt across the room in part 2. B. the fact he survived that explosion in part 2, especially since it happened that far up

Very true. I neglected to mention that the original theory stated that the plan was to turn create zombies anyway, but it is possible the effect was completely coincidental. Also, radiation in the Eddsworld universe is weird now that I think about it. If you’re lucky you’ll be a superhero, if not you’ll have sentient snow monsters

I would personally like to think that, when he was living with his friends he cared about them (for the most part) and without Edd’s influence, he basically lost all morality. Evidence behind this is (I forgot the name of the episode) when Edd saw what would’ve happened with Tord if he (Edd) didn’t exist, we see that he basically loses all morality and commits war crimes. Once again, before he leaves he has some morality, and when he comes back, he’s different than himself before. Basically I’m pretty sure Edd’s influence is keeping his morality in check, considering that his and Edd’s relationship, was Tord’s best relationship out of all his friends.

You know, the plot device where the Tord from 'The End' is a clone of the original Tord is actually a good idea. Imagine that the original Tord was been replaced by an evil version of himself that his friends could not see. Well except for Tom, though. Heck, you could visualize what must've happened for the original Tord from Spares. And that there is a hidden meaning where the Original Tord represents the real-life counterpart of Tord, who is remained in hiding, away from his friends and away from the Eddsworld community. Probably fighting his identity due to knowing that Tord was been harassed or worse mocked by his fans. Or in the Eddsworld perspective, fighting his clone for his identity in hopes of coming back to Edd, Matt, and Tom. After he regretted himself for leaving. When I first saw Tord from The End, I wondered if this was the original voice actor speaking. But it wasn't, it was Jamie I think. I had wished that this was the Tord I've had known back in the old days. But it wasn't. He was replaced. And since a clone is taking Tord's place, the original Tord is hiding. Just like the real-life counterpart. Now I am not saying that the real-life counterpart is the character. And I treat the characters as different people in comparison to their real ver. It's just that there can be allegories and symbolism that can be portrayed in relation to real life and to Eddsworld. Again this is just me thinking about this.

What people did to the real life Tord I have no clue about because I am relatively new to this fandom, but knowing the people of the Internet are lovely, lovely fellows I think if it was bad enough to make him leave the show it must’ve been bad enough for him to try to protect his image because people on the Internet do dumb stuff and he joined a Eddsworld for a new opportunity for something fun but just got more stress hate and like for lack of a better word love. a lot of peoples favorite character was and most likely still is Tord. they also ship him I know about the ships like Tom Tord, TordEdd TordMatt, heck even tord Eduardo is a ship. The people that's making the comics aren't the people that made eddsworld. It's a fan comic. And eddsworld is back btw. So maybe Matt and the other people in eddsworld will make episodes about tord and show what happened. I hope tord is actually a good guy. Well in the spares episode, there is a scene where when edd asks if anyone wanted a drink, literally all the edd clones (and some of the other cast) took come cola. one even took one from edds hand. So i think that when the director cloned them, he cloned their memories. Before Edd died, Tom and Edd were playing to make the Red Leader, (Shown in one of Tomee Bears videos.) When Edd died, Tom made a video showing the model and stuff, and they intended to make Tord evil. So, There wouldnt be much of a difference.

I've thought this through, but don't worry you're a great theorist! I appreciate that your making this to make eddsworld more interesting to some people and try to solve hidden easter eggs and stuff... But i felt like maybe its because ever since the day of our hero Edd has passed, Thomas (Tomska) was held in charge of the eddsworld studio, and changed some few lines because how could he know what Edd was thinking on how to solve the problem ever since Tord hid from the Eddsworld fans and just came back. And i think Thomas thought of a logical way to make Tord come back because he probably needed Tord, or Tord wanted to help Eddsworld, and change the plot into making Tord an evil antagonist of the series, and if it was because Tord wanted to help, this is probably what Thomas thought, or maybe Thomas planned on this episode and decided to ask for Tord's help and Tord decided to help.... And probably from the previous episodes where Tord started showing up was probably because charitable animators wanted people to know Tord is coming back or maybe a sign that reminds people that Tord is still part of the family... Sorry for the inconvenience.... 😅😅😅

The only problem I spotted with this theory is that, In "The End", Tord's room. The real Tord. The original Tord, that had the same room, put all of those hidden belongings in there. Even the Red Army simble was visible. Which implies that The OG Tord had connections to the Red Army.

I also think that Tord took over that “enemy base” from Spares: .Paul was in that army; .In the end, there are pictures of people on the side of Tord’s lab. Two of which are Pat and Pau. Another picture is crossed out, which is Yuu, also from the enemy base. .The EXACT next episode after spares, (where they defeat that enemy base) Tord leaves to “make it in the big city.” Doesn’t anyone find that a bit weird? I personally think that Tord helped the army back onto its feet again, and then became leader, possibly because of his “heroism.” Thats just one of my theories, but it all somewhat matches up-

So, the real tord is dead. If they killed all "copies" and tord had his own lab, this means that the real tord was caught on the crossfire and killed. And the copy lived undercover as Tord all of these years, slowly creating a lab. And doing stuff like that to then reveal himself as the clone indirectly. The question I have is that the other tord seemed like still thinking of Edd, Tom, and Matt as friends. So the question is still, why?

Probably a evil clone so maybe the real Tord is still out there in city or something and the clone pretended to be the real Tord. As shown Considering the zombies, Tord probably wanted to pretend to be a hero to gain fame and and rule the world and in his lab there were blueprints of Tom's inner anger in the episode "The End" and "The End (part 2)" Tord was trying to anger Tom so that the demon would come out then Tord would probably try and defeat it so he can be a hero.
