True country music can't get any better I used to go to the Blue room where Eddie Drake played this was back I believe it was in the 60s

Morrie Shapiro's Blue Room in La Puente California, a suburb just East of Los Angeles. Just a few miles back toward L.A. on Valley Blvd. was the Club Mainger, sister club to the Blue Room. The house band at Mainger was led by Dick Miller who wrote this song. Those were the days. "Hello stranger, welcome to Club Mainger" is how he started each show. Regards.
