We know how much you like new and shiny. Well we have a brand new Edelbrock Victor 340 to flow through our EQ-CH 318B ported cylinder heads. There is no crying in head porting!!

thank for commenting on the leading edge. Most are clueless. Love porting single planes, spent many hrs on my 7530 Team G, flowing with/without heads fun stuff. This dude is a master porter guys (Charles)pay attention

Like Mr Gasket you can get the thickness you want and no goofy permaseals to fail

I run a Chinese air gap intake made for LA 340/360 blocks but also for magnum engines on my mildly built 318 . I smoothed out the Sharpe edges at the opening of the ports on the 318 heads since the intake has the 340/360 ports and are wider. I also run a 1" tall 4 hole spacer plate but I cut out a 1" notch out of the divider that separates the 2 front primary holes and the 2 back secondary holes . it should help with flow / pulses .

There’s a reason why the Holly Strip Dominator and the Offy Port o sonic that has been massaged were the manifold’s used on the fast Super Stock cars.

Those 2 manifolds seemed to be way ahead of their time. The Weiand tunnel ram was the top choice of all the rams.

Edelbrock is basically designed for street cars running small cams and rpm range of idle to 5500 or so. They work well on light duty trucks for light loads or towing.

The Magnum ans L.A. are diferent Head and Manifolds Intake sizes.and 318 L.A. is Smaller yet. Now there is new Intake Port That is the TFS. Intake..

In reality, even though all manifolds seem to suck stock, 220cfm is not a bad place to start. Didn’t the air gap flow alot less? Best they left it portable with tons of meat than messed it up trying to get more flow which would ruin your plans for porting it.

Would the intake manifold combination still flow the same on an unmodified port? Or since the port flows so much better, it helped the manifold overall flow?

Hey Charles, Tim here, that vic flows terrible for ur app......you mentioned that little ledge in the plenum area (beginning of inside runners) or the shorter runner, but didnt say why......i'm curious........but i wonder if the manifold port volume is just to small......maybe has a reasonable shape, but i didnt anticipate that Vic doin so poorly flow wise.......gasket matching is also a troubles area....what is with MOPAR?......my Poncho stuff is super close, just a bit of massage, but again, i commented about how my TrqrII is holdin back power.....but my gasket match is quite nice........yes, alot of work for that Vic manny........i wonder why they left it so small......thats the only scenario i can come up with, for a single plane Ed, on a ported head, that is THAT restricting.......i may be out in left field.......thoughts i have.....BOY do i enjoy ur vids sir!!..hope i made some sense......i can ramble easily....haha....PEACE to you sir!!

I think it is designed for full porting. That way they do not need to research it out. Jmo

Charley have you ever Tried 1 to 3 Angles Across the SSR, remeneber stock it had a 90 over the SSR with a 45 ? Angles on Seat Re-Stomizes Gas-Air ? will it do same on SSR ? .. Have you ever Tried 1 to 3 Angles Across SSR ? Remember Stock SSR with 90* with a Factory Angle Cut Across SSR ?....Angles work on Valve Seat to ....Re-Atomize..... Air-Gas by hitting EDGES ? SO .."""Air Quality...""" over Air Flow #'s..??

single planes have larger runners (at least on sbc's and bbc's). Nobody offers large runner dual plane intakes.

Port Match,..."PORT MATCH".... NOT Gasket to Port Matching........Intake Gaskets are Made to fit Unversal head Sizes.........Port to Port Matching Only
