I found out last night that there can be an extra quietus (6th non-enrage version of quietus) before an enrage version hits. Not sure if just random or if it depends on how fast you are, but I've seen it happen 5 times. If she says "May shadow blot out the Light!" a second time, then it's the non enrage version of the extra quietus. It may give you a lil more time to kill the boss before the enrage hits if the non-tanks still survive it.

Apparently the amount of quietus she spams before the enrage is consistently random. If that's true then this fight is hell for healers. Since they will never truly know when to drop healing to focus dps.

Good guide with the exception of 2 things. During double waiting Flares its simpler to have the healer at the middle edge instead of a corner. Damage will be the same but less movement for said healer which helps alot during the heavy damage going out at this movement. Also the Hand just before this is random whether its red or black. Good luck!

Others have said it already but I will just reaffirm: Don't take all 3 flares to corners, it's better to have the healer flare off to the side of the platform instead. Damage going out will be high but survivable, and it makes it far less stressful on both healers just having everyone clumped up together as is, especially when immediately after one of said flares is a stack up. Having everyone stacked up already makes it less tedious to heal and allows certain healer CDs to basically double dip on its usage. Edit: Grammar and words and stuff

Huh, looking back on this is interesting, my static had Flares go to NE, SE, and W, with the tank moving Voidwalker slightly towards the E edge. This allowed everyone else to stack for Unholy Darkness there and the eyes to just step back slightly, so the only people who have to look away are those that have Flares going off, who are more than likely losing some up time anyway

​@@frosty6845 I see this was 3 weeks ago, but it's still sort of an ignorant and dickish comment. The only way to get better gear (assuming min requirements for higher Savages of 450) is by Savage, Copied Factory (once a week for 1-3 460 rewards if you're LUCKY), a convoluted crafting (or buying) process to get iL 460 items (which still requires Goetia tokens), or waiting month(s) to finally cap everything out with phantasma tokens. Then augmenting them is another story to hit the current armor cap of iL 470. 450 is pretty easy to get..E1-4N bosses aren't very difficult to farm at all, but getting higher iL than 450 requires endless waiting or end-game fighting.. No one really wants to wait that long.

@@Howl4514 There's no downtime in this fight as a melee, you shouldn't have issues keeping GL up. Learn max melee range to dodge adds, and also max melee to do your spread marker. Every mechanic can be done at max melee, even flares if the group prepositions for it. This boss is the most friendly to melee classes in this savage tier

Please don't use this flare strat in the PF. Your healers will thank you. Use the Triangle method where both healers and the party stick together at the east and the 2 flare targets go the corners.

@@Roxas3510 yes, stack the dps flare with the party for uptime. Tank North, Healer south. Tank can rush back in to share the stack, healer can heal from the edges for stack, and prep for dark fire drops.

@@Noctema In this game Eden is a sin eater with no visible gender however. The voidwalker boss has a creature of the void with no visible gender holding someone who is later said to be a girl about Ryne's age by Thancred once they remove her armor- both of them are voidwalkers.

this is terrible advice, doing the corner strat, the bottom 2 corner players kept getting killed unless heavily shielded having one of the side flares be halfway across the platform is much better, and having everyone stack in there helps with the healing immensely

It's a 360 degree AOE. Doesn't matter which way the debuff holder faces, if you're looking towards them when it goes off it will hit you.
