Ah man it's such a shame that as new media you guys were obviously so far down the interview list. You can see how tired from a long day they both are, but particularly Mr Wright looked about ready to drop, but seeing him come alive when you started talking Gialli and Valley of the Dolls and he's "my people, these are my people". I wish you could have spent time with him at the start of the day, I could see you guys really geeking out together! Great that you are getting some time with the creators, and a testament to just how hard you have both worked to make Dead Meat a real influence!! Thanks as always!

Last Night in Soho is probably one of the best films to have come out in quite a while. I am so obsessed with it. I love Edgar Wright and this movie is such a departure from his usual fare but also keeps the hallmarks that are so uniquely Edgar Wright. I’m so jealous you got to speak with them both- especially Thomason McKenzie who is quickly becoming one of my favorite up and coming actresses.

Saw it on Halloween night. The direction from Wright was on-point as always and the performances from Mckenzie, Joy, Smith, Stamp, and Rigg were all outstanding. It was a very captivating and sadly relevant story about dreams/ambitions and the people who get a kick out of exploiting/crushing them, and the fact that romanticizing and idolizing certain places/time/people makes it easy to dismiss, forget and ignore terrible things that deserve to be remembered. An interesting idea the movie posed, which I'm still going back to on occasion, concerns the possibility of one person having multiple ghosts, ghosts of versions of ourselves we had to stop being/never got to be due to tragic circumstances or trauma. It made me wonder if I had any ghosts already lingering within places I used to live/frequent. Interesting stuff.
