As a huge dance nerd I'm beyond impressed that she choreographed this herself, this references Fosse, Flamenco and the dance that OG Wednesday did in the original television series. There are seasoned choreographers that wouldn't be able to do something half this good. On a totally shallow note, her arms are PERFECTION. The control she has to throw them about with abandon and then pull in for small, controlled movement is a skill that lifelong dancers work forever to hone.

This dance is already iconic. It says she decides to keep her guards down a bit for Tyler and she initiates a flirt in her way. I say that because she is just doing her own thing but making eye contact one hundred percent on him while he is absolutely fascinated. Besides that, her flamenco moves is also a reference from the 90's movie where her parents passionately dance in a restaurant.
@ina6601.3 ай бұрын
Omg yes! I've always viewed her dance as something like those fancy-looking birds that will dance to lure a mate. I know those are usually male birds, and that's not totally what she's doing- I'm not over here trying to day she was 100% initiating a mating ritual, just that this is how it comes across in my mind 😅 I don't see Wednesday doing this with anyone but someone she's completely comfortable with (and that just so happened to be a monster lol, very on-brand)
@fabrinisouza3 ай бұрын
@@ina6601. Yes!!! lol a mating danceeeee!!! That's it! If we analyze the former scene (which leads to the dance), Tyler is confessing the bad things he'd done and we can see that she didn't see that coming, but she doesn't judge him and she says she would have gone further lol She realizes he was not so innocent as she imagined and they somehow are connected: 2 messed-up kids trying to find their way. And then he says he likes her and she softens. C'mon!!!! As you said, she was completely confortable with him and she decided to amaze him with her dance. It is what is!!!
