I want to thank you for encouraging the viewers to take their time. I watch a lot of quilting tutorials and it makes me feel like we should be doing speed quilting. I say relax, enjoy and decrease mistakes. Quilting is my most relaxing activity. I don't rush. Thank you.

I love this quilt. FYI - for an inexpensive way to help with tracing, I cut my freezer paper to 8 1/2 x 11 and put it thru my printer and copied the designs that needed to be traced to get a more exact copy. It worked perfect.

Excellent tutorial. Very clear and easy to understand the process. Just purchased the pattern and fabric, and was wanting to see how your applique was done, since it was a totally new way to me. Now I wish I had experience in thread painting!!!!! Looking forward to starting the project. Hopefully, all will go well! :-)

I finished Block 1 and am happy with the results. This is a new technique for me. After reviewing the videos, I have a question about whether to define the petal shapes with the applique stitches at the same time as appliqueing the block to the background? I am using a domestic machine, not a long-arm.

This is a beautiful block/quilt. However I'm not sure l understand why you would not use fusible web. lt seems to me that using the freezer paper as a temporary measure to facilitate the glueing of the edges is a bit redundant and more work for the same end result. Or am l missing something? (Sorry if that sounds cheeky, but it's a genuine question.)
