You're doing so great! Your hair is healthy and flourishing. I was feeling really down about my journey & this was the pick me up I needed. You've truly been an inspiration! First off thank you beautiful! Second off the shots didn’t work?? Why not? 👀 and also pain wise what was it 1-10? How many injections? At this point you’re influencing me lol
@marie2953
@marie2953 Жыл бұрын
Girllll, the derm told me that I would need 6 rounds of shots (and didn’t do a biopsy, despite my request, big mistake!) The first round was quite painful and my head was pounding afterwards but only for a few hours. The subsequent rounds werent as bad. I went for 5 rounds because the shots were covered by my insurance, but I had a copay and I had to pay for parking. On the last round the derm was like… yeah this isn’t working, but didn’t give me a reason why. And proceeded to recommend me to other derms. I didn’t go for the last round because I thought it was pointless. For me personally I felt like the derms I went to pushed treatment options on me that aren’t viable or sustainable (i.e, rogaine, shots, prp, etc.) because they want my money/service. And they take advantage of the fact that people want quick results. I’m taking matters into my own hands now (& God’s lol) and taking my time to nourish my hair back to life. And your videos have been so helpful in this journey!

I can definitely see the difference more so on one side than the other. Good job Sis! I too have started. I’m just taking it more seriously than before. I do it in a stamping motion verses the rolling motion. Hoping it works. ❤
@uhohDavinci
@uhohDavinci Жыл бұрын
You should use a derma-stamp instead of a roller.. it causes FAR less physical damage, while still getting the depth required for the recovery action. You can also choose which depth you want with the stamp. the roller causes the needles to enter and exit at an angle which damages the skin more than necessary.. The stamp hurts way less and has much less recovery time.

when I did my hair journey, I was extremely lazy. I did dermarolling and minoxidil on my hairline and beard but in the end. I just ended up doing dermarolling my beard only. It did help 100%. My hairline has always been bad for like 8+ years so I figured now I should start demorolling my hairline . I tried telling a lot of friends to use minoxidil for there beard but people dont wanna go through the process. I used Equate minoxidil foam 3 month suppply at walmart for 8-9 months

I had this too, I didn’t want to use minoxidil as the side effects seemed awful and I didn’t want it in my bloodstream. I started stamping and using Caliciem which promotes hair follicular , it helped a lot, I saw a difference in two weeks following the system, I then I put braids 🙄 and it ripped my hair, so I’m starting again with calecium! It pricey but it’s worth it along with patience aslong as you have faint hair in the area.

@@tamithecreator Depending on where you live and what type moisturizer. I try to keep it as moisturized as a jerry curl not that much but close to it. I found some success with the bask and lather products. Also I have been taking niacin B3 and it rushes blood to my scalp and thats when I moisturize and massage. Niacin opens up blood vessels and helps with anxiety amongst other things. Careful there is a burn that comes with niacin that some can't take but after a while the body gets use to it.

I have 3 different types of hair. The right side is the weakest and thinnest. Maybe I’ll try micro blading with my rosemary routine. That spot is so dead I probably wouldn’t feel it. 😂
