Great video but drag racing all you really need is a way to control throttle up and a curve. A stage button or switch is ok if you find one that works for you, I can't seem to get my old hands to find one that is ergonomically correct for me. Love my MT12 controller.

The problem I see with this is you're going to need to steer it off the line, and you can't do that with your right hand holding the momentary switch in. Would it not be better if you setup 3 driving modes instead? Then one mode could handle the burnout. One could handle staging, by lowering the throttle weight. Then the last one would be the launch/run, with your logic to return the throttle to normal after releasing the throttle. That's the way I would want mine setup anyway, and I think that would be extremely cool!

I would like to use this in my setup, however I would like to make a small change. How would I go about using the SC button in a slightly different manner to initiate a launch. Ideally I would like this to function similar to the launch control on my old spektrum dx5 pro. When I push and hold the button I would like it to deactivate the throttle ( act as a trans brake) and when I release the button I would like that event to trigger your delay settings and run one time. It would be an added bonus if this protocol would be capable of being "paused" and maybe even back up a step if during a pass I loose traction and feather off the throttle. That way when I get back in it I still have a little launch control.
