Today, I talk about what I use to edge my lawn to get them EXTRA CRISPY edges. Of course, I don't have any crispiness right now but I will soon. The RYOBI Brush Cutter universal lawn attachment is the perfect tool to add to your shed. Effortlessly eliminate weeds and thick brush from you yard, around your garden, and under your deck. The 8 inch Tri-Arc blade has been designed to tackle the toughest brush and yard conditions.

Love the blade - I have a brush blade for my Echo SRM-225. That thing rips - you can take down 1/2” saplings with it if you need to. String is a thing of the past for me. The best thing about using a blade instead of string is that it throws less scraps/rocks/etc back at your legs, which for me is a must - I’ve got a 20000 square foot lawn surrounded by multiple wooded areas near and surrounding the lawn to maintain.

I think this is the perfect video to point out the marks and gouges that have been put there by the steel blade in the wood fence and concrete. That would/should be a huge issue! This is an awesome video, that blade can work.

I have 2 of these heads. I actually replaced the brush cutter blade with an edger blade to cut brush, works way better. That triple blade design just pushes away the brush.

Yeah.. I've been using this exclusively for a few years now and it's brilliant.. no more feeding or fusing with jamming weed eater line! 13:31.. word of caution, be careful touching the blade or having it in your face like that with the battery in place. Easy to kick or lean on the trigger by accident. I keep my blade dangerously sharp and have cleared a virgin lot with 5 foot high growth.

I use a Black & Decker String trimmer and it works wonders on edging. You're meant to edge the top of the sidewalk/garage way. To leave a trench-like cut. Not the level of the grass to the edge of the sidewalk/garage. I also own a 2 Cycle gas-powered Ryobi Trimmer with the Ryobi Brush Cutter for cutting down bushes/hedges/weeds. And the way you edge is fine but you need to cut the grass deeper into the sidewalk/garage path to let rain water into the roots of the grass to help the grass grow greener.

@@LawnTimeComing String trimmers are great for light work but brush cutters with 2 cycle gas powered trimmers can cut bushes, hedges, and small trees. Once you buy the Forester Chainsaw Tooth 9" Brush Blade with 3/16" Round File from Amazon.com you can cut any tree without buying a chainsaw. And it will work with your Ryobi battery powered trimmer/Brush Cutter. When your edging make sure to go slow and make sure to leave a clean cut. Going too fast can leave bits of grass and dirt that won't leave you a clean/edge cut edgin. Also keep feeding the trimmer line so you can get a deeper cut. Less line = less trench cut that won't help the roots get enough water when it rains or spinkler system. www.bobvila.com/articles/how-to-edge-a-lawn/ www.homedepot.com/c/ah/how-to-edge-a-lawn/9ba683603be9fa5395fab90dbfc8383

Are you sure you stripped that bolt? You have to turn the blade until the holes on the blade housing line up. Then you put some kind of metal rod in there to lock the blade in place. Then you will turn the bolt to the RIGHT to unscrew it. Maybe that’s not the case on all brush trimmers, but that’s how mine works.
@LawnTimeComing
@LawnTimeComing 4 жыл бұрын
