Can this same setup be achieved with the aluminum hand guard? Will the MOD40 fit under the same? All the setups I’ve seen like this all use the carbon fiber guard and I can’t find the inner dimensions anywhere lol. Thanks!

I believe the stock mod is more pleasing to the eye.

The stock moderator does look better, however it's still quite loud. I certainly don't feel I can use it when shooting in the garden without disturbing the neighbours. I have the UNF version of this Huma moderator on my Leshiy 2 with an adaptor and can testify to how quiet it is.

I ordered the Tishina silencer with the short hand guard. The stock moderator is definitely loud in .30 cal. Hopefully the new silencer makes it backyard friendly.

It's a M14 x1.25 if directly attaching to the Leshiy barrel.

Thanks! That's the same thread that Airgun Technology (Vulcan / Uragan) uses. DonnyFL has endcaps for their most popular moderators that fit that thread. And Hugget also has moderators that fit on that thread directly.

@@bouwmaker I've managed to find a UNF adapter for Leshiy 2 on ebay so will be trying out the moderators I already have. I do find the 250 barrel stock moderator of Leshiy 2 is still pretty loud for shooting in the garden!
