From personal experience, I’ve found that a roll pin punch that’s used to start a roll pin into its hole, can be used to ensure the punch won’t slip off the end of the pin. Even with the tape, damage can still happen if the punch slips. This takes out some of the fudge in the fudge factor!

Yeah that's the way to go, however I didn't have a roll pin punch that would fit in the gap, tape doesn't stop everything but if you careful and sort of expect the punch to slip the job goes quite safely. Thanks for watching.

Hi m8, what’s the distance from barrel thread seat to the end of the new forend and will a donnyfl sumo 40.6mm dia fit inside, obviously I’ll have to use an adapter for the thread difference. Cheers Chris

Donny fl wont fit inside, max diameter inside the fore end would be about 30mm, on this setup the barrel is inset about 90-95 mm from the end of the picatinny rail. Thanks for watching.

How do you mean the moa is not built into the shroud? Can that not be adjusted for by rezeroing the optics or is that something that should already be zeroed out of the box when installed?

Hi, I meant the MOA adjustment in the Picatinny rail on the rifle is not continued in the Valkyrie kit extension, so you are unable to bridge the two rails with scope mounts if you wanted to. Thanks for watching.

@@sub12airgunners - Oh. I just now saw your reply after watching your video, again, while I put this kit using the 150mm rail version on my L2. Was about to bridge the two rails with a one piece mount. Guess I’ll figure something out. I got it mainly for using the Peak iron sights and mounting some additional low/night light options. Love your videos. You explain everything well.

Not without a custom bracket I am afraid, I did try that, but making the bracket to fit on the rifle was more trouble then it was worth. Thanks for watching.
