You can save resources building this square, if you place the walls not on every tile, but in a chessboard pattern (tentacles won't spawn on the free spaces). Also, you can get a square of the same size with fewer walls by building it 45° rotated. Combining both tricks one could have used 25 hay walls instead of 49 and even would have gotten a slightly bigger square than in the video.

@@3Dshadowgaming im not exactly rick but i would say the 2 experienced players would be Wortox, Wigfrid, or Wolfgang. Theres some other good combos too, i advise to look at Edgy Rick’s character combo video for tips. Wortox is good to help support the newer players while also being a great character on his own. Wigfrid so you can help support the newer players, like Wortox. Wolfgang just because he is really good. As for the new players i would reccomend anyone besides Warly, Maxwell, Wormwood, Wurt, Webber, Wes, or Wolfgang. Warly, Maxwell, and Wormwood are gimmick characters and are tough for new players to understand while they should be focused on the game’s mechanics, not their characters’. Webber and Wurt encourage a nomadic lifestyle which is bad for a new player to learn. Wes and Wolfgang simply are tough for newer players to handle since hunger is often an issue for them.

Otherwise if you only want to be ‘’effective’’ and survive for long you would sit in base all day long, avoid all bosses, only use farms and survive to infinity.

When it comes to making Wickerbottom farms, how do you collect the loot?

Depends on the farm design. Some of them you wait until all tentacles are killed and gather an absurd amount of loot all at once, some have it built in that they can attack certain mobs but not you (because certain mobs hitboxes are larger). Lazy forager can work well. Etc.
