The sound quality is very good, easily fills the room, nice clear sound, big bass...however I was stunned when I checked out the price, these are a great set of speakers but at the time of review they were listed at £799/$995 and that seems far too expensive given the lower cost, excellent sounding, alternatives available.
Disappointing to find for that price there isn't any WiFi services built in, no Spotify Connect for example, this is a set of speakers that focuses on sound quality only and you'll need to either hard wire your music source in or connect via Bluetooth.

you have them incorrectly placed,so as to install them you only need to stand for sound quality and correct placement .

i don't know what sort of mic you are using here but i'm listening to this video on huge vintage speakers and the difference between a200 and s2000 pro was massive ... a200 was so much cleaner and sharper.

Your observations re the lack of streaming services strikes me as a plus for these speakers - I can access virtually anything I need from my smartphone and I'm far more interested in the Bluetooth codecs supported than access to services that are constantly changing anyway. Personally, I only pay for Spotify, but if I wanted to use TIDAL or Qobuz I doubt that any Bluetooth speaker is going to cut it even if they were offered. As for multi-room audio, suitably equipped Raspberry Pi scattered through the house give me far more flexibility (and better sound) than anything I've seen from Amazon, but its a fair point in 2020. Thank you for this but have you measured them? I need some objective data. By the way: there is a newer version available: the Airpulse A300. I wondered if there are any recently issued powered speakers available equipped with the newest Hypex modules? Arguably those amplifier modules are the best among them all.

These are ribbons, plus they are horned. Completely bad placements. And you even compared it with a portable speaker?? Common man, are you sure you want to review speakers as a career??

It just slays me the amount of sound comparison KZbin videos coming out of lately. You cannot properly demo speakers through the internet period...it's just silly. I just hope consumers do not spend their hard earned money on products based mainly on these preposterous comparisons.

Sounds like you accidentally set the treble button on one of them on + or -. It's not a matter of quality as much as it's quantity.

I have A200 and i think you are focusing on some wrong point. The bluetooth is only one of the less important sub function of A200. The main point of having such thing like A200 is to enjoy something like classical music/instrument. For comparing maybe you should play something like hotel California instead of the full bass music.

Cant Decide: Swan 200 MKIII, The new Mackie that is 400$,Edifer 2000 pro or JBL with the 6 inch ANY thoughts? Any own/hear them all or have advice? I LOVE everything about the Swans BUT hear constantly hear they break/get a hum after 1 year or less and NEVER get fixed
