Thx for sharing. I passed my original 820NB to my daughter as they weren't loud enough. I hope Edifier kicked it up a few notches on the volume. Previously owned the Cleer Enduro Anc and loved the sound, but despised the weight; white noise was annoying but tolerable, don't miss them, and look forward to trying this or the 700NB.

Loved the review! I’ve seen a few of yours today and I’ve narrowed it down to what I’m looking for. Would you lean toward the Edifier W820NB Plus or the Soundcore Q35 at an $80-90 price point? I plan to use them for primarily for music or course, but also gaming with friends and the occasional podcast/tv show. I have never owned a pair of ANC headphones before so I would appreciate any additional input

Just got the Edifier w800nb for US35. Not complaining considering for the amount i just payed. Had the soundcore q30 before this which I think its much better in terms of sound, but the build quality is just rubbish. The left band broke off after just 1 1/2 years. These have a narrow soundstage while the sound core had a wide soundstage.

Interesting review but I have a question. Do you think it could be a good deal to buy the 1More at 69 euros (the actual price for Black Friday)? I also like the Sony WH-H910N even if they are too expensive. What do you think between the two could be a good choice? Thanks

I'm totally torn between this and Sennheiser HD 350BT. My only asks are best sound detailing and imaging in that price. And next is comfort, say continuously listening for 1.5h - 2h (outside and inside of the house). I don't care about other features. I listen to Classical to Metal; from Folk to Sufi; I completely hate english Pop, and I definitely am not a basshead. I want to start listening to some clarity and feel the soundstage (perhaps I'm asking for a lot in this price but I've only used $30 Chinese IEMs so far, haha) from some decent headphone, then making the journey up with time.

İ havent tried the edifier but İ am happy with the wh-ch720n. However İ can compare them to the soudncore q45. They sound a bit different. The soundcore sounds a bit sharper but this gave me some ear fatigue after like 1.5 hours of listening. They also have noticably better ANC than the sony 720n. but the problem with the Q45 for me was the comfort. Don't get me wrong, they sit nicely on my head but the earcups were a little on the big side. When İ rest my head against the back of the couch or chair it pushes the headphones forward a bit (personal problem). the sony on the otherhand sounds rly nice after EQ'ing. İ am really happy with the sound. İ gave away the space Q45's to a good friend after getting used to the sony. İn The pandemic İ long time borrowed the Bose 700 headphones from a friend. İ did not A-B compare them because İ dont have the Bose anymore but from what İ can remember they did sound better, had better anc and were built better than both the soundcore Q45 and the sony 720n. And that for 2018 headphones.

@@0guz1993 oh thank you for this. I appreciate this detail response from your experience. I have heard good things about the sound quality of bose headphones they are way above my budget for a soon to be first headphone owner. I leaning strongly towards the 720ns. Thanks

First of all, this ANC is pure marketing since they arent specifying the exact freq mics can effectively filter. If you consider this ANC good, then I dont want to know what is bad. I got those in hope they could help me in noisy working environment, but, alas, only good for eliminating low hum, like 50Hz. Anything higher than that and you are in trouble, since they are actually AMPLIFYING the air movement aka pneumatics, which drives me nuts. Even when I use compressor pistol at hand away distance, it winds directly into ears, as if it was much closer. When I turn ANC off, this goes away. Also, if I wear hood like a dark sith lord or put my palms close, but not touching, the wind gets reduced significantly. Its so bizzare, I wonder if I got faulty item, or its just poor engineering. Second of all, its very quiet, I got a pair of regular on-ear, and they are like 30% louder. Headroom should be there in any case. Audiobooks and podcasts -forget it. Quality wise sounds like a pair for 10-15$ Disappointed in Edifier now. Despite that I`ve got W820NB for less than 53$ I think I better get some regular industrial earmuffs. Let it be -28dB but across all the range, not just low bass, which does not even bother me, especially when music is on. Something for 10$ googled in a minute: High = 27,1 dB, Mid = 28 dB, Low = 21,8 dB, SNR = 27,9 dB
@aziyzulabdi6713 Жыл бұрын
If you using the ANC for work, it's always wiser to chose regular industrial earmuffs
@MACTEP_CHOB Жыл бұрын
@@aziyzulabdi6713 Doubt that. I just compared them today. So called specialized are very uncomfy, squeezing head like they wanna pull brains out. Besides they are not removing rumble so much as with ANC
@mattmanguy Жыл бұрын
The ANC on these Edifiers I had was the most wildly inconsistent in various positions of all ANC headphones I've had. While being still, sometimes it was really good, but oftentimes it was almost like it wasn't doing anything, especially while doing things like turning my head or chewing, which made external sounds much more audible. Other ANC headphones I had were much more consistent with noise reduction. Part of it is due to the Edifiers not pressing against my head tightly enough, but I wonder what other reasons might be for this.
