I've been using the Edifier W830BT for a few years and love them... and they get around 90 hours on a single charge!

So glad you pointed out the headband bunching in the center. I have these and they look silly on my head. I really like their sound and app. For my money the 1Mii Y8s are an excellent alternative with LDAC. No app, but they look nicer and have magnetic removable ear pads.

Great info, as always. I bought the Edifier WH950NB, and while I liked its sound, I ended up returning them due to its heavy weight, heat over the ears, and lack of comfort features using the physical buttons (I solely use it with my PC, so the fact I had to do pretty much everything with the phone was a royal PITA). On top of that, the thick pads are deceiving, since if you dare sleep on the side with them on, they´ll stab you in the ears like there´s no tomorrow. Would you say this is an improved version, according to the aforementioned? Cheers!

Cheers! I never tested the 950 so I can't say for sure but the comfort should be better on 830NB. I had no issues with heat or a heavy feeling.

I think you can improve ANC test by building a rig with microphones (or buying one) so that you can play ambient sounds at the same volume and distance and measure the recording levels inside headphones. Also you could include sound samples with that setup, record leaking etc.

Jbl 770 has been $99 for awhile and blows everything out of the water, don’t sound too far off from my $300 sennheisers just have to tune down the bass at loud volumes a bit as they can get a little muddy like most cheap larger drivers.

I would go for the earfun, just better noice cancelling. And the w830nb are a rather tight fit if you have a larger head. Also the earfun are a more modern design.

Yep. Edifier payed me a small fee and I reviewed the headphone like I do any product, whether I purchase it myself or it's sent to me for free. Like I said they were not able to see the video prior to publishing. They just send me the specs of the headphones and that's it. A lot of brands won't sponsor videos with the way I do this and that's fine. There are tonnes of headphones and earbuds out there, more than I'll ever be able to cover. So If a brand is willing to pay me there's a higher chance I'll be keen to cover it. Just because I'm making money from it doesn't mean I can't be honest. I'm curious of your perspectives though so let me know what you think.

I have the Edifier spirit s3. Audio is great as is battery life. However, the worst audio purchase I’ve ever made. Buttons don’t work properly- off button, when it works, takes 14 sec press to turn off. App is useless - spam in Chinese and 50% of the time doesn’t recognise that there’s an edifier headset attached. Comfort is ok, not as good as Sony or sennheiser.

Although they made a disclaimer at the end of the description and claimed to give an honest opinion, I don't believe the review is fully reliable, especially since the headphones received an "F" rating on Fakespot, which indicates a high likelihood of fake reviews.
