Cimo: "That is how some players thought how Ultimate Offering worked." No Cimo, that was how it was worded that both could use it. They had to change the wording and reprint to get it work as they intended. Poor wording was a huge problem in early prints.

it's like the first several printings of Waboku, where the intended effect was to protect both your life total and monsters from battle, but it just said damage

The original Japanese text is even worse: it didn't specify that your extra summon needed to be a normal summon. It just said something like "pay 500 life points to summon monsters in addition to your normal summon". So players would pay 500 lifepoints to instantly summon a Blue-Eyes for example.

Extra Deck monsters (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz) must be *properly summoned first* (AKA Fusion Summon, Synchro Summon, Xyz Summon) to be revived from the GY. Starlight Road says "Special Summon", so it doesn't count! Pass it along!

I kind of got bored of modern formats so I played the history of yu-gi-oh format alongside MBT and Cimo. This was the first time for me playing Flamvell and it defenitely turned into my favorite deck in Edison Format. Which kind of makes me sad that it did so poorly in this series. Flamvell Firedog and Rekindeling are just great

This was the format where I took my childhood fun, and just ran with it. I loved this era so much and while I do enjoy modern, there's just something nice about Edison format. I played both of these decks during this format and I remember some of the best times I’ve ever had in yugioh. Honestly this is probably my favorite format of all time. I played dandy warrior until a guy at locals came in with full power infernity and I fell in love with that deck until this very day. But the games this format just had an amazing quality.

Machina Gadget was the deck i was running back in middle school. I loved machines but the Cyber decks were never as consistent as this. The structure deck for Machina Fortress made things so simple. Love that deck so much i messed with it a little bit and ran my own not knowing this was actually an insane deck. I had some tuners in it with a random sangan in the mix to just get an extra searcher online and didn’t run things like Opression, NoC or Creature Swap

Game 1 is why you don't play solidarity in machina gadgets. Can easily brick, doesn't provide advantage, and locks you out of amazing monster effects for a 800 boost that was only really relevant against specific decks. Possibly a side deck pick but it's essentially a win more card in the main and isn't required. You can see it never make an appearance g1 or g2 and Cimo just control the flow of the game. Super glad to see my favorite deck make an appearance on the show tho! :D

Also just to add debris negates effects but doesn’t stop effects from being activated, so MBT can still mill 3 for cost with card trooper when he brings it back with debris. Just helps fill the grave for avarice, help find more cards for drill warrior to add back next turn or even hopefully mill dandy to get some tokens and wall up!
