Well, I've been using Davinci Resolve for about 3 years & I did not know that you can make new timelines & work on multiple Timelines at once. Though, I like that you can work on both Timeline 1 & 2. for example. I like the tabs better. Thank you and this is awesome.

is there a hotkey to drag a clip from one timeline into another? in premiere you can open one timeline in source, pancake them, hit your in and out, and then make a hotkey to put the footage in the timeline.

I still don't really get why you would want two timelines.

To edit two versions of the same video, for example in a wedding video you want to edit different versions of the intro, you edit in 1 timeline and in the other you make changes and modifications or editing with two different songs... As in the example of this tutorial, editing a version in English and another in Spanish. It is the same video but you have to make small changes, in this way you can edit the 2 versions of the video much faster. These are just some examples that occur to me, but this already depends on the editor. I find it very useful, but if you see that this does not help in your editing process, nothing happens either
