One useful tip ▶ you should set up your target loudness to -14 LUFS for KZbin (instead of -23 LUFS). You can change it in project settings.

You held my limited attention span the whole way through this video by not rushing, being clear and not bombarding me with information! Thank you; I’ve been using Videoproc Vlogger since I started this new hobby about 18 months ago, mainly because it’s free and I don’t make enough content to justify paying for editing software. I think I’ll download this now and give it a go. Thank you so much for this wonderful introduction to CapCut.

Excellent way of presenting the Capcut edition. I stayed until the end even though I have been using it for some time and I saw from the editor's shoulder some details that will be very useful for me. By the way there is an option when you use the context menu and it is “copy attributes” this copies the changes in the video like speed and other parameters, the audio volume and even the effects you apply in the color correction, then you select another clip in the timeline and you can “paste attributes” and all the changes of the clip before worked on are applied to this one. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Is using 24fps better than using higher fps? Thank you so much for this wonderful information.
@MrPaulXavierКүн бұрын
It depends. For talking head content 24 and 30fps are standard. Anything over that like 50,60, or 120, these are only for slow motion footage.

Do you only use your transitions for B roll? What about the A roll footage that has been split?
@MrPaulXavierКүн бұрын
I have a rule to never transition between two of the same clips, it can be pretty jarring for the viewer. So the cut up a-roll that's all the same setup and style I just use a clean jump cut and usually I'll crop in slightly as well.

Way more depth of features, controls, and built in templates like transitions and effects. If all you need it to cut basic footage though they’re really both the same.

Hi is it possible to download the desktop app on my new iPad as I keep trying and just the iPhone app version comes up?

No I believe the ipad works on the smartphone version. The two apps are almost identical though, so you should be able to follow along with the smartphone app just fine (we also have a training on that app on our channel)

@MrPaulXavierКүн бұрын
Thanks! And yes! Some but not all of them. For example the kinetic dots background and the sound effects I used in this video are both from content creator templates. Some other templates are made for other editing programs so those won’t work but they’re all labeled within content creator templates as to what program they’ll work with
