What a wonderful video. Edith falls is surely a desert garden.

Thank you! I may be a little slow with posting but I try not to hype it up just for views and try and give accurate information and documentation as much as I can from my knowledge, I think it's a great asset to document these wild places to make people aware of them and the wildlife that lives in them for future generations and at the same time have a little bit of fun trying to replicate them for the hobbyist as inspiration, I to have a passion for keeping animals but I love to see them happy and healthy, but I also love our wild places and think they should be protected for our kids to enjoy as we do, I hope this comes across in my videos 🙂

Surely inspiring! Thank you, again! I´m on my way to finally set up two tanks, but since I want them connected, and in special measurements, it will take a while. Inspired by you, I will take photos and film my project. You are so true to Australia, and I really like it. I wont be true to anything, except plants and small fish. All the best!

Hi mate, I'm camped at Edith today. The river really flows in the wet. I'm a Nt local.
@australianbiotopes4563Күн бұрын
I hope you liked the video, it would be great to be a local to see the transition, I my self would probably never go up in the wet as I wouldn't have enough to film, but I did take a trip west of here to see all the creeks flowing nice after the drought we had, it's always nice to see water when you've seen the lack of it, I hope you have a good time, I recon it still looks nice in the wet.

If you see the nice young Ranger there could you let him know about the video and maybe show him the link, he was really interested in what we were doing and was really nice to us, he also wanted to know the names of the Rainbows that where up there.

Another fascinatng video Jason. It is beautiful country. A shame the salites sometimes restrict where you can explore. Did Harlan have more exciting contacts with the creepy crawlies? 😁😁
@australianbiotopes4563Күн бұрын
Thank you! I don't mind they have to live somewhere as well and we are encroaching on there territory, it's good to see the rangers capture them and move them to safer places though, it must be a bit of a job for them each season after the wet, Harland had fun holding the light for us at night while we were filming, he hates bugs, I saw his tent roll around a few times when bugs got in 🤣

Great video as usual! Those glass fish are quite nice, are they in the hobby in Australia at all? Or kinda tricky to keep and breed?
@australianbiotopes45632 күн бұрын
Thank you! yes they are in the hobby, they are a nice little fish, non aggressive and great for schooling, I was actually going to order some to try and breed them, they are egg scatterers so I was going to try them in a large tub in the warmer months, we have local ones to me as well but they don't have the white and black fins like these ones.
@IndoorEcosystem2 күн бұрын
@@australianbiotopes4563 They are super unique they remind me a little of mini angle fish. They'd look amazing in a nice big tank schooling around.
