Excellent! Between this and another video you created you’ve done more to give me a sense of pairings and sequencing for a book than all the other KZbinrs combined. Thank you so much.

Excelent. I'm Starting a channel devoted only to photobooks. Soon. In a week or so.

It's really coming together nicely, Borut - I like a lot of the pairings you've done (eagle on the right, IMHO :) ). Can't wait to receive the book. Thanks for letting us into your life this way.

this is so so so inspiring! more photographers should print their photos into books. if only to have at home or share with friends or, if they're great like you ;) , sell them around the world for everyone to enjoy

Another great episode. I'm looking to get a contact print frame for 11x14 prints. What size (thickness) glass should I look for 1/4, 1/2, etc.
@BorutPeterlinPhotography6 жыл бұрын
grifter1964 thicker one is more resilient, but thinner one is lighter. I would go for thicker one. Thx for the comment

I am putting together a book of my 6x6 film photographs. This video was very valuable to me, thank you very much. Are your photos shot on film as well? They seem to have that timeless texture to them.
@BorutPeterlinPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Yes, in that book all images are made either on wet plate collodion or silver-gelatin film negative. I'm very happy to hear that it was useful.

@@BorutPeterlinPhotography Wow, you sir are a master photographer. To be able to capture children and all of their energy on wet plate is extraordinary. I am very much a new subscriber.

Bro awesome work! I'm sure the book will be great!!! I'm for sure buying one for me!! keep the awesome work!!!!! Question!!: what software are you using to make the layout?? I'll like to print some of my photos into a book too!! Thanks
@BorutPeterlinPhotography7 жыл бұрын
nohc4 thank you bro! I'm using InDesign, two decades ago I was using quarcxpress, because it was no other software, but now every designer that I know is using InDesign.

Thank you so much!! I wish you Merry Cristmas and a prosperous new year. I hope for next year if things get a bit better for me to check when you'll offer the workshops and plan to go there for a few days and learn the wet plate colodium process and other salt prints, I wish you were more close or make workshops here in Miami, I'll definately be the first on your list. Thanks again and good luck. Nuurs Ortiz

I like the idea of the way the photos are presented on two pages, but I do have to admit that it does bother me when a photo bleeds over to the other page and you lose some of it in the center, near the spine/binding. I'm willing to bet that you hope something happens and you have to work harder to get your landy out of a situation.
@BorutPeterlinPhotography7 жыл бұрын
Andrew L I agree with you, but sometimes you want that a viewer will get bothered, because that's inline with the feeling of the book.
