Looks good, so what is the Gain control, and normalise used for?
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
Auto-Normalize Loudness makes it so that separate audio clips don't get wildly different ranges (nothing is SO much louder or quieter than one another anymore with that turned on). Gain control, similar to volume control helps a clips independent loudness be a little more editable.

Very informative... Can you please tell me, how to remove some portion of audio?!! Thank u
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
You can split the track at the start of the clip you want to remove and at the end, right-click to detach audio and video (if you need to) and then delete the audio. You can add a small fade out/fade in so that it doesn't abruptly cut out as well.

how to mix those two audios into 1 (system audio+Mic audio) cause if I record any session I have to record with system audio , otherwise My audio input isn't recorded(while I am speaking) . So, how to avoid audio echo while record any screen capture with system audio?
@techsmith3 жыл бұрын
Do you record with headphones or earbuds? If you're getting sound on your microphone from your computer it likely means your computer is using it's onboard speakers which is getting picked up by your microphone. Headphones would cancel that out.

Is there any way to stop Camtasia 2020 from automatically adjust the loudness level? It always turns down the volume of my audio, but that's not what I want
@techsmith Жыл бұрын
Yes! You should be able to go into your Project Settings (right-click your Canvas, choose Project Settings) then un-check the box that says "Auto Normalize Loudness."

thank you very much! but can you change pitch?

Yes you can! You'll find Pitch in the Audio Effects tab!

Nice video! how can I make loop audios for long videos?
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
Great question, Douglas! For videos needing longer audio tracks you can just add the track multiple times. You may need to do a little shortening to get them to sound seamless, but they are all meant to be able to repeat without much notice. :) Hope this helps!

Is it possible to add an echo effect?
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
You can manually create one by duplicating your audio layer and offsetting it by a few frames, but it is not a drag-and-drop Audio Effect that comes with Camtasia.

Its great, but I have a question, if I want to ripple audio at several positions at the same time, Is it feasible? How can I do that? Thank you? It was terrible time consuming when I ripple delele (Control+Backspace) one by one
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
I don't believe there's an automatic way to make that happen in past versions. You can do it in Camtasia 2020 by making the tracks magnetic so they snap together. However, that will make EVERYTHING in the track snap together, and sometimes that's not what you want.

is there any audio equalizer 3rd party for camtasia? i would love to the changer the audio sounds. Any advice?
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
There's not a third party equalizer for Camtasia, however, if you have items at vastly different audio levels and bring them in as separate clips (that part is important) then and have "Auto-Normalize Loudness" checked in the Project Settings, it should be pretty good. However, if one clip gets louder and quieter by itself this function can't help that. Some of our editors enjoy using Audacity or Audition for doing any separate audio editing equalizing.

I have a short music clip, like 2 minutes. Is there a way to extend it to 30 minutes?
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
Well, it will get quite repetitive over that length of time. You might consider fading it in to start your video, then bring it back up 1/4 of the way through, 1/2, 3/4 and a t the end again. But more aligned with changes in tone or chapters of your video. Maybe when introducing a new element you bring in the audio clip? As far as just extending a clip, that would greatly mess with it's pitch and speed. And again, you could copy/paste it to go on for 30 minutes, but you'd hear that same song 15 times and that might distract your viewers from the main message.
@coachfranklind29744 жыл бұрын
@@techsmith Thanks. That's what I've been doing a cut and paste. (time consuming) It's more of a background sound with music over the top so very unnoticeable. Thanks again.

Of course! Camtasia is a video editor and screen recorder primarily! This is just a tutorial on how to edit audio IN Camtasia. Check out some of the other tutorials on our channel like this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4jIdHathad1b9U

Making audio fade ins and outs is really tedious and annoying in Camtasia. If you've made a fade in and then trim the start of the audio clip it's gonna start in the middle of the fade in and you have to adjust your automation points. I've been waiting for "real" fade ins/fade outs in Camtasia which are independent from the clip in/out points.
@techsmith4 жыл бұрын
Understandable, and a good request. Have you submitted it to our development team at feedback.techsmith.com yet? That's where they gather the best user-feedback based ideas for development and I'd personally agree that's a good one. Similar to the video transitions? Make audio transitions (or fades). Thanks for saying so!
