I use Loupdeck Plus for Lightroom edits. It's a version of Loupdeck before CT, it has more dials which is better for working with Lightroom cuz you don't need to jump between config sets and remember what you have programmed all dials to do in those different sets.. And it costs 50% less than CT.

If you're on a budget get the loupedeck live. Same functionality at half the price. Also customize it as much as you can. The default settings are far from ideal.

for better workflow I would suggest just going with Loupedeck+. more options if you don't want the hassle of looking down everytime just to edit photos. I think the product is just more expensive due to it's LED screen.

Hi Pat. I have been debating whether to choose Loupedeck CT or Loupedeck Live. The difference is basically the part of the CT that doesn't exist. I would like to ask if, in Lightroom's Develop module, this part is really necessary, or if I can execute it with Live and using the mouse. Is it possible to configure the 8 buttons to include forward and backward commands in the photo? Do you think the experience could be good, even with Live? Thank you and greetings from Portugal!

I JUST bought a Loupedeck CT to get help me to get working on my KZbin channel (that I never work on)🙄 “Final Cut Pro”🤔 Just bought a DJI “Pocket” too 👍🙏💜✨✨ To “pair” with my DJI “Air” (really digging that as well!!!… MY “FILM CREW”😉) A REAL “Post-Production Suite” at Home!!!😉👍🙏💜✨✨✨

I didn't think I needed this - I still don't - but I've looked into these kinds of things in the past. I really like and appreciate how you didn't just straight up hype the product, added in your experience of a steep learning curve, which I could imagine being like learning to touch type and falling in to old habits. I'm currently processing a ton of images so I can 100% see the advantages of having this set up on a desk... maybe once I invest in a desk set up I'll be converted. Thanks for the great video as always.

I would look into Loupedeck+ way cheaper and also more intuitive with buttons. It will be a hassle to keep looking down for the menus. That's just my opinion.
